Was really happy with the whole experience here. Really nice staff and awesome asado dinner! Comfortable bed, too.

After about 5 weeks on the road and many hostels later, this hostel has been our favorite! We rented a comfortable ensuite double room that was kept very clean. The common areas are beautiful, especially the garden outside, which aided meeting other travelers. All staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a nice 15 min walk down the main avenue of Buenos Aires to the main plaza, though not close walking distance to the bus terminal. That's ok since the terminal isn't in the best part.

very nice stay! comfortable bed, good facilities and good coffee at breakfast. definitely do the asado -- not only was the food delicious but we had an extra treat of getting to see a folk band with dancers perform while we ate! located near a few corner stores and a small grocery store, 15 min walk to main plaza/downtown, which isn't bad at all

Make sure you have the bbq!!! and order some empanadas, some of the best we had in Argentina. Room was fairly basic and could have been cleaner but shower was hot and had good pressure. Kitchen not well equipped - but why cook in Salta when the food is so cheap and so great. We booked the Cachi tour through the hostel and it was a reasonable price and a good tour. Nice garden area to sit in and chill. Owner cranks sweet tunes nightly, even has disco ball if you're into that kind of thing.

Garden area was great. Rooms nice. Internet coverage not that good at times. Rooms could do with more powerpoints for charging electronic devices.

Really enjoyed it here, probably one of my favourite hostels in argentina. Has a real good setup with lots of space. Rooms (Dorms) each seem to have their own bathroom and are a reasonable size with good sized lockers and comfortable and warm beds. The real saviour is the nice outdoor area to chill in. Only complaint is could do with a bit more bits and peices in the kitchen - utencil wise.

We booked for 3, stayed for 5. The private ensuite room we had was perfectly good for our needs. The hostel has a good vibe with chilled tunes coming from bar area adding to the atmosphere. The staff are all really friendly and attentive, this is especially true of Victor! The brekkie is adequate (bread, pastries and freshly brewed coffee). The only thing which was a little frustrating is that most of the crockery and cutlery was kept under lock n key due to the apparent loss of so much of it.

We found the Staff helpful when we had any questions. We were a little dissappointed that the Hostal appeared rather "Tired". It had a great outdoor seating area but this seemed to be taken up with other people looking at screens all the time instead of mixing with one another. Kitchen utensils were very limited. No cups or mugs and not many plates or dishes or cutlery Book exchange was very expensive.

We loved staying here ! There are nice, large rooms and a great outdoor area. The staff are helpful and it's on a relatively quiet street. It was easily one of my favorite hostels in Argentina.

Nice Hostel with friendly staff and clean rooms. The ensuite bathrooms are a bit small and the drain doesn't work that well so if you take a shower the entire bath gets flooded. The kitchen is average and a bit dirty, it doesn't have all the tools you need to cook but enough to make standard dishes like spaghetti etc.
