Staff were nice, smiley, but also slow. The showers were above the toilet style, which got the bathrooms wet and the floors hardly dried. Several computers to use but only one worked. Internet was functional. Sunday BBQ was really delicious and it attracted a good crowd. Security was excellent except for no lock on the bag storage.

Although my first impressions of the hostel weren't good - I had to wait in the cluttered computer room until I could go to my room (I arrived at 7am), I loved the pretty courtyard with the plants, vines, cacti and ornamental bird cage and the way the rooms and kitchen and dining area were set out. There was a nice chilled atmosphere at the hostel and I met some nice people there. On the bad side - The computers were very old, slow and only one could be used with any degree of confidence.

Decent hostel with excellent garden area & weekly BBQ is excellent. A bit far away from the centre of town. I booked a single private which was a great deal. It is more of a chilled out hostel, though possibly more lively at the weekend. Wi-fi was patchy but this is South America. Probably the best place in Salta if you want to relax, if you want to party it's probably better to stay in the centre (or the loki) IMO

Plus points- We stayed in a private ensuite which was spacious and bright. Hot showers and decent wifi. Staff are lovely, kitchen is good

Great hostel, great atmosphere and really good for meeting new people, loved the asado night!!! A bit far from center but defenetly walkable.

Decent indoor and outdoor communal area. Asado put on by the staff is both delicious (I say this as a foodie) and also a great way of meeting other guests. Big lockers in rooms, en suite is okay. Beds not all that comfortable and you don't get a personal plug socket. Also only one key per dorm room so a little frustrating having to ask for it and hand it back in regularly. All in all a decent stay and the positives outweigh the negatives!
