Directions to Hostel of the Sun

To get into our building, please press 51 on the buzzer to ring reception. Then walk inside, make a left and take the elevator to the reception on the seventh floor.

From the train station By tram:
Exit the station and cross the square in front (Piazza Garibaldi) until you reach the tram line (it's the only one in the piazza). Take the Tram Number 1 in the direction of 'Colombo' from the stop that is NOT next to the newspaper stand; the tram is going to the left when you are facing away from the train station! Get off at the last stop. Our hostel is on the road between the Agip and Esso petrol stations on your right-hand side; this is Via Melisurgo. We're at number 15 on the right.
Remember: You need to buy the ticket (€1.20) before you get on the tram, and then stamp it when you get on. You can get the tickets at any newsstand or tobacco shop.

On foot from the train station:
Your journey should take about 25 minutes. Refer to the map and walk towards the city center on Corso Umberto. At end of Corso Umberto starts Via Depretis; walk on this until you are approximately 100 meters from Castel Nuovo. The last street on the left is via G. Melisurgo (there's a newspaper stand at the corner). We're at number 15 on the left.

From the airport:
Outside the arrival terminal there is a shuttle bus called 'Alibus' that runs to the main square. You should get off at 'Piazza Municipio (Molo Beverello).'
The bus will leave you on Via Acton in front of the port Molo Beverello. From here continue walking in the direction that the bus was travelling and cross over the road. After about 100 metres you'll see two petrol stations on the left, Agip and Esso, and our street, Via Melisurgo, is in the middle of these two. We're at number 15 on the right-hand side.

By Taxi: From the central station a taxi costs €10.50; from the airport it's €19.
