This has some of the best Hostel staff I've ever met. Friendly and very helpful with figuring out activities. And just nice people.

The staff at Hostel of the Sun is so incredibly accommodating. They really try to make your stay as pleasant and fun as possible. I had a bit of an emergency and they were able to help me out, which I am so grateful for. Fantastic hostel!

Our special thanks to Lucca and his team members, kind folk every one of them. We arrived tired and a bit stressed out but Lucca's sunny disposition and helpful tips put Naples right back in perspective. One suggestion: if there's an Italian word for 'tram', please add it in the directions to the hostel - some half a dozen people we asked for the way to the tram stop outside Napoli Centrale couldn't tell us, and it is a 5-min walk (feels longer with luggage in a unfamiliar city:)).

this hostel was so nice im very comfortable when i stayed here friendly staff,good location,nice breakfast and the most friendly people who stayed in this hostel if i have fluent english abilty,it will be better to rest.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Again, it was awesome to be at Hostel of the Sun. Five years ago was my first time and I was super-satisfied. It was even better this time... Everybody was making our stay a wonderful experience.

I only stayed for one night but had time allowed would have happily stayed longer. Very warm welcome on arrival, especially from Harriet, and even though they were very busy took the time to explain options in and outside of the hostel. From looking at the noticeboards around the reception, room areas there seems to be something going on all the time and the staff are very enthusiastic.

It's a small hostel, with small rooms, clean and with a very kind staff. It has a little bar and a good kitchen. The location is good next to the port, so if you need to take a bus or a boat to go somewhere its just in front. I don't recommend Napoli for solo women travelers it is a very dangerous city so in this case the location is ok.

My thanks to Jessica and Clara for their friendliness and warm welcoming deameanor. Having staff, like these two,made my stay that much more enjoyable. They should be commended on they're service,and given some sort of pad on the back, from management. Ciao Scott Mclaren PS Clara I would have paid another night too ! Sorry for not calling :)

Hostel was great - staff were very helpful with travel directions, guests were all really friendly, breakfast was more than adequate. Could do with a larger sign outside the building though as it took a while to spot it.

Nice enough hostel for the price. Was a bit of a weird layout, being spread across multiple levels, with other tenants and businesses in between. Also having children running around the place was a first for me. The staff were really kind and helpful. If I ever return to Naples, I would stay here again

Difficult to get to even with the signs since the reception is on the 7th floor and most of the rooms are on the 2nd. And, there are 2 different elevators. It's resort when you've been there before. Loved the staff... Very nice, friendly, and helpful.

Great hostel, lives up to it's excellent reviews. The staff are great! Really go out of there way to help. A++

I slept in an 8 bed mixed dorm. The beds were clean, the lockers were really secure, and the location was perfect. The staff was beyond helpful, and they even had 3 euro cocktails during 8-11 pm happy hour at night. Would definitely recommend staying here again.

This was my third stay here in as many years. The staff are amazing, the location is excellent and it attracts a wonderful mix of travelers. They have a bar at night pouring resonably priced cocktails, lots of common area, a provided breakfast that's included and a location that puts all of Naples within walking distance. The staff is multiligual and incredibly helpful. I have stayed in the dorms and in a private room, each time it's been a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

This was a great hostel, mostly because of the great staff. They were fun, friendly, and gave excellent recommendations... especially for food!

Just brilliant. Having read other reviews we came with high expectations and we were not disappointed. Must be one of the best value for money, friendly and enjoyable hostels in the world, a gem. The stars of the show were the staff. Everyone was fantastic, efficient, helpful, patient, cheerful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, always a smile and a chat yet the place ran like clockwork. Thank you to everyone we had a great 4 days
