Stay for the location only, everything else is meh. And don't expect to arrive early, there is no couch to sit on.

THIS WAS THE WORST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. This hostel was filthy (visible urine on toilets and floors, dust everywhere, and there were cracks and a small hole in the toilet basin). Other guests had no respect for others or the room, and would be messy and loud through the night. People would smoke in the rooms, and there were no smoke detectors or real efforts to stop this from happening. I did not feel safe here, and left 3 days earlier than originally planned.

Very normal hostel. Nothing bad nothing super good. We enjoyed our stay there. :) there was a lot of men there and we even shared the room with 6 other dudes, but we were very okey with it. Some girls might not liked it. We didnt spend a lot of time in the room but in the bar we met 2 nice new friends, i think thats the main reason we enjoyed our stay there. Very good place to meet new people. Rooms were pretty clean, free city maps, nice shower.

The location of this hostel was amazing and was well suited to exploring the red light district at night. Some of the staff were lovely and some were not so helpful which didn't make me very keen to stay there. The rooms were basic but had clean sheets, towels, a locker, wonderful shower down the hall (however could have done with more than 1) and a free safe available downstairs. You definitely pay for the location more than anything else but Amsterdam makes up for anything!

This hostel is too expensive for what it is. The lookers are outside the room, so it annoying to use them. The staff are stupid, don't like to help and seems to be in a bad mood all the time. There are no facilities, there is just a pub on the ground floor but you can't even ask for tap water, they'll tell you "take from the toilet" and you can't eat there, so there is no place to eat your own food. I would never recommend that hostel.

I wouldn't stay there again. The staff were extremely unhelpful and clearly hated their job. I was given very little info upon arrival, and questions seemed unwelcome. It's a very basic hostel with a noisy bar downstairs. Lots of little things made my stay uncomfortable (curtains wouldn't shut, wifi barely worked, no ladders to get up to top bunk etc). The location is the only positive aspect I can think of.

Good hostel stayed here twice now. First time in one of the dorms and met some good people. Having the bathroom in the room is a bonus for me as well as the smoking area. Happy hour every day too!

Good location for Amsterdam central station and right on the edge of the red light district. We felt very secure considering the locations reputation and downstairs the bar does nice, affordable food with discount.

The hostel is dirty and badly kept, with poor lockers, bathrooms and overall a bit of a mess. The location is fantastic however. If you want location then this is great however it's very overpriced for something so basic and dirty

I have just two complaints: there was not enough plugs in the bedroom and the wifi just works at the bar.

It has everything we needed, but the staff was exceptionally unfriendly and completely uninterested in helping us. Not worth the money.

The location was ideal and the beds were extremely comfy, however our room could only be compared to a prison cell (we didn't even have a window).

great location right on red light everything was else ok, bathrooms reasonably clean with more showers available on separate floor, bring padlocks if you want to use the lockers, no kitchen, food available at bar, no real atmosphere

Good stay in great, central location. We found it useful that bags could be left until 18:00 after checking out, though perhaps there could be more security when doing this.

This hostel was a great find and centrally located in the red light district. It's walking distance from the train station and close to lots of cafés and bars. There was a small bathroom for every 10-bed room, but that didn't pose an issue. There is no kitchen, but there's a bar downstairs. It's not a hotel, that's for sure, but it fulfills basic needs. Would stay again.
