This hostel was nice and clean and in a great spot- 5 mins walk from Dam Square- but the front of house people were absolute jerks, you had to jump through hoops to fill up your waterbottle with clean water (we just kept asking at the bar) as there aren't taps in the bigger rooms, and some of the staff were just generally jerks. They refused to let us use a phone, and turned up the heat way way way too much at night. Although, they do have free towels!! Good for a couple of nights, but no more!

Great location. Nice enough bar (but too expensive). Could do with actual computers, not just wifi - not everyone has a laptop or smartphone with them.

Staff were very welcoming . Everything very clean. Cleaners didn't just come in when they needed to clean the room. They knocked on door and then if we didn't want it cleaned would leave it . Staff were excellent and would definitely come go back again. Thank you

It was a great overall experience, the bar was nice and the rooms were comfortable. Located in a prominent area of the city, just 10 mins walk away from the Central Station. The toilets were pretty well maintained as well. Only gripe is on our 2nd night, the guy who was manning the reception was absolutely rude to us- when we asked simple questions, he alluded to the fact that we couldn't read signs and find out the information ourselves. i mean if signs were all we needed, what was his use?

DO NOT STAY HERE. The location of this hostel is probably the only good thing about it. The bar/reception area is dirty and uninviting, staff are unhelpful and unfriendly, the bathrooms were left a lot to be desired, the beds felt like they were going to fall apart, and, at €28 for a Saturday night, it's just not worth it. Definitely not value for money. No computers for travelers without laptops or smartphones to use the internet - wifi only. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good place, especially if you have only 2-3 days in Amsterdam. Direct access to Red district and coffee shops. You will have 20 % discount at the Pub downstairs. English breakfast is delicious in the morning.

I only staid for one night and did not spend much time in the hostel! Staff was excellent, really friendly, great tips for finding a place to eat/drink/dance! Staid in a 3 bed private with a private WC, which was really modern and clean!

great location. Good with a bar, but it's a bit too large. People didn't wanna socialize much.

Ideal Hostel for any trip to amsterdam! Only a few mins walk from the train station, 15mins at most. Very good location, close to the city center, many coffeeshops and of course, the red light district. Friendly staff, was pretty secure place. I was in a 14 bed dorm, not bad, pretty roomy in there, toilets were just outside our room, also clean enough considering how often that bathroom gets used during the day and at night. Really good smoking room downstaris and a great bar. top marks!!!

In a great location- right in the red light district and about a 7 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Fairly secure- lockers in room but bring your own padlock, and the guy at the front desk will hold important documents and such for you. The bar is nice and the food is decent. Would definitely stay here again.

A grand enough place, especially if you like football as its styled as a sports bar. Good facilities and a nice bar. the location is good, right in the red light and on a canal but if you want to avoid the worst excesses of amsterdam probably not such a good location. No computers though, only wireless. Management kept changing the price, one day they'd say 15 euro but that you'd have to book the next day. the next day it'd be up to 22 and so on Other people there experienced the same.
