This place is ok; the rooftop terrace would be really awesome the only problem is the staff is annoying and a little bratty/aloof. The restaurant below is great, and the rooms are whatever. They have a cat which is dumb. One night there was a lot of noise, really late. It's whatever, a fine place I guess.

the mixed dorm room was very noisy there was a machine whirring all night, the staff were nice but they had no knowledge on mexico city. the roof top garden is a highlight of the hostel.

Breakfast is only toast and butter and jelly and coffee and tea. unfortunately the location is not great. the part of town is quiet and safe but seemingly out of the way of things to see and do. luckily metro (subway) is 3 pesos only. one of the staff members hogs the only computer. the owner, a pretty lady with long black hair, is exremely helpful. a good thing is all the staff speak english. beds are noisy and uncomfortable.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi , sorry you felt that our location is not great, this neighborhood is the most popular in DF due to it's many bars, clubs, restaurants, art galleries, parks, boutiques, etc. We are very close to the anthropology museum and Chapultepec Park as well, we are not located downtown because it can be crowded, very noisy and no so safe, plus there are really no activities at night. I think I am the staff member who hogged the only computer and i apologize, but that's simply cause our staff computer was being fixed, you should have asked me for it like everyone else did! Finally, for 10USD a night with free towels and linen, cable tv in your room, free wifi, 2 kitchens, etc. what kind of breakfast do you expect? There are other hostel's that serve better breakfast but they charge 14USD per night. We are sorry you didn't quite enjoy your stay with us like the rest of our guests, we are always trying to improve, so we appreciate the feedback, cheers! Juan P.

Very good hostel for the money. Hostel is located in a quite and safe area near parks where I was able to jog every night without fear. Staff were nice but asked me to pay according to the rate on the day of arrival, which was a bit higher than the rate at the time of my reservation with the hostel world. Other than that I had very comfortable stay at this hostel and recommend to others if they want to stay near the park and the market.
