more of an apartment than a hostel. lacking a common area.
We stayed in a double room and ended up with an appartment just for ourselves, which was very nice and secure. The room was right in the jewish quarter but about 15 minutes from the actual city center, which was a bit long sometimes. The staff was nice, the appartment and the facilities were clean and well-functioning. I thought it was on the expensive side though, and we had to pay 20 zlotys to leave our luggage at the reception on the last day, even though they were not locked up or anything.
Overall very good. But,when I booked 2 rooms I at least expected them to be close by. Instead one room was by the reception and the other on the next floor. I understand the building itself is a constraint since it's old and not purposely built to be a hostel; however, communicating between the rooms was very problematic since in between there are 2 doors that are locked and guests get a set of keys to only their corridor. Also, for 4 people/2 rooms we only received 1 key to the front door.
