It's my fifth visit and I still love this hostel, couldn't think of a nicer place to stay, and they've even upgraded the mattresses since last time.

Great hostel to stay, location is great as it is the first hostel you'll see when you get in the village. it will be so perfect if you don't want to drag all of your stuffs on those crazy street of Chesky Krumlov... really nice staff, I made a mistake on the check out but they were still nice and said it's not a problem. I went there when it was thier off season, so it was really quite :)

Nice cheap place to stay. Although they have the cheapest toilet paper. In all honesty take a piece of wood. It will be smoother

Nice place. When I stayed there was next to no one else, so the atmosphere was somewhat lacking - I can't blame the hostel for this of course, it was in the depths of winter. The only negative thing that I came across was one staff member who I overheard on more than one occasion criticising guests when they weren't around. Fine if it's done behind closed doors, but not exactly professional done within earshot of other guests...but all the staff were very friendly to me (at least to my face!).

Despite the low season and the bad weather, Hostel 99 was great and the reception staff was quite helpful. Will stay there again in the summertime:)
