The bed was verry worn. I've noticed every single bedspring, so I've slept greatly bad.

Hostel quite easy to find, and because of some problems with the heating and water I was changed into another room with less beds, but for the same price. I was quite concerned though about no locks on the dorm room doors, and the main hostel door open during the day. It seemed like anyone could just walk in. Cleanish rooms and towels avaliable. Only one toilet for men and one for women and two showers. Ok during my stay as not many people, but during summer must be a bit of a problem.

If you want a room for 4 people go to other hostel. Hostel description lies. 4 bed room doesn't exist.

Unprofessional and insulting staff, in fact we're quite certain they were the guys who owned the place. Money-grubbing at every corner. Most hostels REQUEST that you strip the bed, but Hostel 99 REQUIRES you to bring them your sheets, or you will receive a fine of 100 crowns. Apparently cleaning isn't included in the price. Always dirty dishes in the sink, always a dirty kitchen bench, always dirty floor of the communal bathroom. NO LOCKS ON THR DORM DOORS!! Lockers provided without locks.

Cannot complain on the location of the hostel; it's conveniently located close to the old town. The hostel had a cabin-feel to it, which added character to it. However, the staff was a bit obnoxious and loud. The hot water in the shower in our bathroom (10-bedroom mixed) did not work. Had to use a different bathroom which was super dirty. We had breakfast at the Deli 99, which was quite good, however, they did not have two dishes that we wanted. Also, not enough egg dishes for breakfast.

staff is very helpful. I arrived at the train station at 7 pm. It is very difficult to get the taxi, walked down hill isn't fun at all. I recommend to arrive there before dark and ask information office there to get a taxi. Otherwise walk back to the restaurant and ask someone there.!

Fantastic place! We were booked in for 2 nights and after an hour here decided to book 2 more. Staff are fabulous! The river rafting is awesome, even when it is a cold overcast day... I loved it so much I went twice! Definitely stay here if you come to Cesky Krumlov.

My experience at Hostel99 was extremely positive. The staff is warm, inviting and informative. The quality of boarding is great for what you pay. I would definitely book with them if I visit Cesky Krumlov once more. The amenities were more than what I was expecting.

We arrived via train frm Salzburg & 15min walk downhill, easy to find. If coming/going from Prague, catch the "student bus" for only euro 7.10 & it had free wifi/coffee/tea/movie.its for all ages not just students. Also,we met other travellers at hostel but hired raft from a company in town. The cost for 7of us was half of what hostel99 was charging. Note that only 1 pub was open on the river.2/3 night stay is perfect as only small town.shuttle from Linz no longer available. Met great people there

The hostel was perfect for it's location. Just right on the entrance to the old town. The guys were hilarious and very nice making sure that we were all comfortable with our accommodation. We had a separate room so it was a little away from the main hostel, which was good as we wanted some peace and quiet. The room itself was clean and spacious and well worth the price we paid for. Would definitely stay here again if we're back.
