One of the best hostels we have stayed in on our world trip. For couples it is worth paying a little extra to get the Tango room. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and the dogs are fantastic!

So clean, such friendly staff, such cool people staying here! We really enjoyed our stay in Hostel Lao, so much so that we extended our stay from 2 days to a week!
Super clean, super nice, and very comfortable beds. We stayed in both the dorms and their premium Tango double room (TV, heater, private bath) and it was all great. Highly recommended.

We paid a little more and stayed in one of the private rooms, it was well worth it! Everything was very clean and well kept. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making this a great hostel. A lot of small comforts like afternoon tea and vino. Best Hostel so far!

This is the best hostel ever; the staff was second to none and willing to help with anything and everything; it was the most secure location ever; pretty much it was a home away from home in paradise!

Had a great stay (7 nights) and Hostel Lao definitely deserves the high rating ... a home away from home in every sense. Mike, Celeste and (especially!) German go out of their way to make visitors welcome. If you like dogs then you´ll have a great time with Astor and Bambina ... though you´ll find them better at stick games than you, Astor practices 12 hours a day.

One of the best hostels that i´ve stayed in on trip around the world. Staff are really helpful and pleasant. Really clean rooms and proper telly room with couchs.

This is without a doubt the best hostel we have ever stayed in! If you have the few extra pennies the ´Tango´double room is amazing! The staff are fantastic, the dogs are beautiful and you even get brekkie and afternoon tea and cake included in your stay! ´This plave is like a home and we miss it already! Will definitely come back here and recommend to all our friends!

The best hostel we´ve stayed in. The staff is amazingly helpful (you´re great Germain) and there are people cleaning the hostel nonstop. If you go to Mendoza, you MUST stay here.
