The nicely renovated Gold Hotel Panzio welcomes tired travellers with flowers in the warm and homey atmosphere created by our tiny street's tidy white houses. We are waiting for you in the green part of Budapest, next to the downtown but far from the noise. It is 5-10 minutes walking to reach the business and entertainment centres where you'll find our famous museums, the popular Széchenyi Thermal Bath, and Hero's Square.
We take every opportunity to provide information about all the places you may want to visit. Our long-term guests are so independent that they will take the new ones to places they already know, sharing experiences and building new friendships. Our guests gradually become like family members who return home every now and then and bring new friends with them.
Comfortable, colonial furnished rooms make your sleep calm and your work pleasant. We have our own guarded parking facility, the big buffet breakfast, the camera controlled reception desk and our multilingual, caring staff ensure both an enjoyable and a secure stay.
You can simply and quickly reach your destinations by bus (Nr. 25) or by traditional vehicles: choose from the first underground in Europe (with its 100-year-old Yellow line), the trolley buses (Nr 74, 74/A), and the trams (Nr. 62, 67, 69). The hotel is easily accessible from the Andrássy, Hungária street and from the M3 motorway.

Reservation and cancellation policy (except New Year's Eve period and Formula 1 period):
· we guarantee reservations made with valid credit card number and expiration date
· free of charge if the reservation is cancelled unleast 48 hours before arrival date
· we charge 1 night per room if the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours before arrival date or no show
New Year's Eve period cancellation policy
· we guarantee reservations made with valid credit card number and expiration date
· free of charge if the reservation is cancelled unleast 7 days before arrival date
· we charge 100% of full reservation per room if the reservation is cancelled within 7 days or no show.
Formula 1 bookings (27-31 July) and group bookings (5 or more rooms):
· we guarantee reservations made with valid credit card number and expiration date
· free of charge if the reservation is cancelled unleast 30 days before arrival date
· we charge 50 % as a non refundable deposit 15-29 days before the arrival date (it is also the cancellation fee for this time period)
· we charge 100 % as a non refundable deposit within 14 days before the arrival date (it is also the cancellation fee if it made within 14 days or no show fee)
Roomrates include buffet breakfast, parking and taxes.
