This hostel was AMAZING! Location is great, not quite in the heart of old or new town but on three short stops on the tram. Everything is substantially cheaper, without tourist prices!! I got a burger, fries & drink for only 3€!! The place is spotless, fully equipped kitchen, nice open dorm rooms, dvd/chill out room. Special thanks to Rod & Mike for making our stay memorable!! you guys are the best! :)

It's a pretty good hostel with good facilities and a nice vibe. The only downer is that it's out of the Old Town, which is a bit annoying if you're in Prague.

Really nice hostel! Plus an awesome bar downstair with really cheap bier (0,80€). The staff is amazing! I felt very welcome and had no problem to meet people! The location is a bit off the center (15 minutes walk) but everything around the hostel is cheaper then in the center. A really nice kitchen with everything you need! You are gonna enjoy your stay!

Good hostel, downside staff not there 24 hrs a day, which is really helpful. Staff are a bit more detached from hostelers, which is a downside. However is a really fun hostel, with very fun organised nights out! though the male female ratio is lacking, so nights out can be hindered. It is a clean hostel, but lacks that xfactor.

One word: UNBELIEVABLE. Hostel One is so amazing. Firstly, the staff is so nice, hilarious, and super helpful, they hang out with guests and take them out at night (we did a retro night with the hostel and it was AWESOME). The hostel bar is fantastic for meeting people, the rooms are tidy, spacious and well maintained. And there were at least two Canadian staff there which was cool for us! (hi Vancouver Mike!!) Definitelv stay here! And it is one short simple tram ride into the main area.

Hostel One was a memorable stay! Facilities were awesome. Kitchen and TV room where the bomb. After travelling 2 months it was really a home away from home. The boys from reception become great friends and went out of there way to show us a good time! Ben, Rod, Kraig, Drew and Mike really make the place! Would definitely recommend to everyone and would stay again!!!!

The location is ok and the hostel is reasonably clean but I would not go here again if you are looking to meet people and have a good time. There did not really appear to be a party atmosphere, which was surprising when it is in Prague. The staff were fairly helpful. We were in a 6 bed dorm but there were only 3 of us in there so it was a little quiet, especially when we were there over the weekend. Small lockers are provided but make sure you have a padlock. I probably would not go back.

This hostel was fine and the staff were really friendly! Had all the amenities you could want. But there was something kind of odd about it that I can't put my finger on. Might have been luck of the draw, but it seemed to be mostly guys staying there (and so mostly guys who went out with the hostel group), which as a single female traveler was a bit of a bummer. Bring a small padlock for the lockers!

this is a great hostel if you're single, young and male. Since i'm none of the above, it was not the most ideal hostel for my travel lifestyle (too loud, too hipster-esque).

I had a really good time in this hostel, great place to meet people. Good bar with cheap drinks and if you want they will take you out to diffrent place's. I had a private room with my girlfriend wich was really good. You have your own Kitchen if you want and the bathroom is nice as well. The last night I spent in a dorm room and those rooms look really nice too. The kitchen downstairs is also good as is the loung room.Good help from the staf so a place I recommend if your alone or as a couple.

rod, mike and ondra friendly down to earth guys, just what you need in such a large city. They know the places to go and run a cheap bar downstairs until 12ish. Rod led us into a film festival where we were greeted with a free bar all night. Id deffo recomend for backpackers and students, good all round experience

Good, Fun hostel in a nice quiet area, staff were very helpfull and easy to get along with. would definitely suggest to fellow travelers. Will almost certainly stay again.

Great place and great value- we ended up having a huge room for 8 people with kitchen and bathroom for just two of us for the whole duration of our trip. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean. Only thing was that it was a little noisy- but fine if your looking for a party place.

A very nice place to stay for young people! Very friendly and relaxed staff who gave us some good tips on bars etc. We (a couple) had the chance to stay at a really big room on our own with our own bathroom and shower. One must be prepared to cope with some noices in the night beacause of the young party people. There was a weekly program of things to do organized by the staff which seemed like a nice idea though we did not participate.

The overall hostel is in a great condition. There is a giant TV with a lot of DVDs and a bar downstairs. The two things I didn't like was the location (as the hostel was a bit out of the centre) and the people who stayed there were teenagers that just wanted to get wasted. Other than that, it was good, but not memorable
