BEWARE!!!! This hostel has two areas, without choice. We were in the apartment part in shared rooms and there is a family that lives in the conjoining room. With this family comes a crazy elderly lady who walks into the rooms while you are sleeping, monitors every move you make and will yell at you in Croatian, which none of us understood.

The people running this place are selfish & overbook so that when I stayed I got dragged 10 mins across town with some old lady I could have chosen for half the price at the train/bus station. The staff were rude and didnt tell me anything about what was going on, just to follow. The place I got put in was acceptable but the hostel is nicer. If I was you Id just turn up and go with a local offering cheap private rooms at the station. I have given this hostel an average review as I didnt stay.

AWFULL!! Do not go there...to start we got shouted at the '24hr' recepetion at 7am when we wanted to leave our bags. The reception door was always closed so you had to bang on it for ages to get to speak to anyone! Not fun at 7am!!! My friend got bed bugs and then had the lady shout at her for half an hour saying she was infected and that she shouldnt have moved rooms when HER daughter told my friend to move rooms. The people are unbelievably rude...i cannot express how rude they are!

Hostel owner was horrible, some other random families were sharing the same facilities. Was really dodgy. Wouldn\'t stay again if they paid me.

They send us to another building, where we had to live with a family and share their toilets. It was a zimmer but paying for staying in a hostel. Really bad.

There were two centipedes in our bed when we arrived and the shelves hadn't been dusted in a long time!

Needs more bathrooms, there was often a line to get in! Staff: nice daughter, but angry, yelling mother who threw tantrums randomly - not very comfortable surroundings at times. You can't even use the balcony either.
