It was terrible. Staff smokes inside; same time when they were cleaning. Rooms don't have soundproofing at all. Computer was very old and slow(it was free, but still) I will never go back.

The site is nothing of what I expected, they wanted to get more money for the place, on their web page said they have laundry facilities and is not true, is far from the main tourist sites and security gives a lot to say. I will never go back there

The hostel is okay, the people are nice and it's pretty big. There's always enough room to take a shower and is looks clean. Nice place, beautiful park nearby. Only is a bit of a walk down to the city and the walk back is for the die hards (like climbing the mount everest :) ).

Very cheap and lots of character, only problem was it was a bit boring. Location was fine as it connected with the trams through a furnicular.

We actually stayed in Hostel Center, not SPUS. They moved us prior to arrival due to the YMCA convention. However, Center was a fantastic hostel to stay in. Clean, located right next to the river and train station. Fantastic restaurant across the street.
