good location, friendly owner, disorganized but friendly nightguy, good breakfast but you have to pay extra for it

Welcoming staff. Only stayed 1 night in dorm. Overall Ok. All that is needed: hot shower, some lockers (not in room), Wi-Fi though not optimal and fluctuating. Mid-way to bus terminal / airport and city center (5mn).

Lacking a bit in atmosphere but time of year/ quiet town contributes to that. Good place To stay for a night or two.

Excellent hostel and one of the best I've stayed in in South America. Extremely helpful bilingual staff, very convenient location on edge of old city but close to bus station. All the facilities you could possibly need, and a friendly but not party atmosphere. Recommend.

Good info supplied for trips etc from the area, could do with some lockers in the rooms for bags etc.

Good hostel for there not being many options around. Perfect location right near the old city provides easy access to see Popayan for a morning or afternoon before continuing on to your next destination.

Very great spot to stay at before heading down across the Colombia-Ecuador border. It is a very relaxing stay and just a block away from the historical city. The breakfast was also fabulous!

Only stayed one night before crossing the boarder into Ecuador. Nice clean hostel.

We arrived late at night for our bus was delayed but the lady welcomed us very kindly. I forgot my phone at the reception desk on arrival and it was returned it to me the following morning. Staff is very helpful and kind, I highly recommend this place.

Extremely noisy location and staff. They played music until very late. Activities advertised were not available. They were the only reason we stopped in Popayan! Laundry advertised but not available on site, you have to walk 12 blocks to their sister location. Breakfast staff was excellent and the meal was a great value. I will not choose this hostel on my next trip.

Overall a nice hostel, good location and friendly staff. Breakfast was good too. would stay there again.

Nice, chilled place in a great town. Stayed twice, either side of San Agustin. Dorm is fine, breakfast is decent (although not included). They offer some really good tours, the thermal springs/biking one was a great day.

Perfect location for a stopover in Popayan. Good value room and drinks. Although breakfast is extra, it is worth it. If you run out of things to do in Popayan, the hostel has a good load of dvds you can make your way through!

Nice hostel close to the old town. Good kitchen facilities. You can do many activities from this hostel but you need to be 2-3 people otherwise it's expensive.

Muy agusto el lugar y todo el staff bien amable..

The staff is very helpful. It's a straight walk from the bus station over the walking bridge. Location is close to the central square. They will keep your luggage safe when you go to Tierradentro and San Agustin. I've stayed there a couple of times.

Great location, clean, and safe. Wifi doesn't work unless you are upstairs on third floor or in the reception area.

Great Location and easy to get to. Not many people there and no nice area to hang out. Lot of construction in and around the hostel.

The hostel itself was nice, the kitchen was okay and there is a tv room and they have computers to use. But the people who were staying there were not really open for new contacts, so the atmosphere was really bad.

One of the cleanest hostels we've stayed at so far! The bed was fairly decent and it also had an adjacent little room with big windows and a little couch. In order to get hot water you had to turn down the pressure a bit, but it was very nice to have reliable hot water. Would definitely recommend their private rooms!
