What a great hostel in a great location in Belgrade. Just right down the street from the Fortress and right next door from one of the oldest restaurants in town. Everything about this hostel was nice. It isn't a party hostel but it is a good time. The staff is great! Very knowledgeable and fun people who are great to talk with!

Excellent experience during my two-night stay. Dunya and Gelena (staff) were great: they spoke excellent English and provided a warm welcome and lots of information about the city (be sure to take the free 2-hour walking tour!). The location is less than 10 minutes walking from Republic Square--perfect for playing tourist but away from congestion and noise. I much appreciated the no-smoking policy and adherence. My only negative is that the written directions were a bit confusing.

This was a fantastic hostel, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very laid back and made it easy to meet the other guests. Best hostel I have stayed at. Amazing!

the highest rated hostel ive stayed in and didnt dissapoint. felt more like sharing an apartment with friends than a regular hostel. staff seemed like regular friendly travellers. great location but could do with a sign outside. staff are what make the hostel great it seems and its small size.

Only one night here but it was great- located a block away from the main pedestrian area and only 10 minutes walking from the train station, the staff was absurdly helpful and friendly, the hostel itself has a nice common room that creates an intimate atmosphere, and the free coffee/tea was a nice treat on the side. Highly recommended.

Things were a bit quiet in Belgrade when I stayed at Hostelche (nearly all hostels were either empty or had 1 or 2 people), but I could definately see the potential for this to be one of my favourite hostels, had there been more people. The common room is great and the staff are simply fantastic.

Hostelche was AHHMAZING!! The staff were so nice and helpful, I felt like they were old friends. The hostel itself is really cozy, clean, and comfortable.... the location is perfect!! It is really close to all of the sights and the pedestrian zone, which has tons of restaurants and shops, I definitely recommend you stay here!!

You couldn't ask for nicer people working at the hostel. They always want to be sure you are taken care of like you are a guest in their home.
