Stayed in the 24 bed dorms, got only one big sheet that was also being used as a blanket, it was so hot during the nights, they must add personal fans. Also during my stay, some person who was staying in the dorm tried to sell me tours and tourist attractions, he said that he has travel agency in the island.

Lovely place behind the pier to Playa del Carmen. Restaurants, cafés and all amenities just around. Good showers (perfect pressure & hot water). Only lacking : the breakfast & some animation.

Only stayed here for 1 night. It's not the 24 bedded dorm which caused a noise problem but the bar/pub across the street. The dorm is located at the entrance right at the street. So you hear cars, streetnoise and the bar across the street the whole night. The location and the chill out on the roof were really good though!

Great value, has a beautiful outside lounge/kitchen/hangout area, great location downtown but not right too close to all the noise

The place has a Greek isle feel to it, staff very friendly and located behind everything. I had a private room and it was very clean and roomy. The are tons of outdoor beds and hammocks and a very cool kitchen area. Very relaxing atmosphere. No noise at night and didn't need the AC because there ceiling fan kept me cool at night. Didn't understand how to use the tv. The price was cheap for what we had, I've paid more and got way less in other places. A must stay!!! Enjoy

Wonderful hostel with budget friendly private rooms and an amazing outdoor rooftop space with beds for tanning, hammocks and tables. Staff are present cleaning all common areas every night. Only issues are that the kitchen/cooking supplies are limited (only one knife for cutting things, no extra sponges or dishclothes), and that there was no hot water one evening, although it was fixed the next morning.

The kitchen needs a water kettle to boil water for tea and coffee. And get some mugs and glasses, or a microwave. The gas stove is so slow and unreliable and it takes long to boil water. The fridge is horrible and filthy, and needs to be cleaned daily or have people put the food in the basket The TV was running too late in the night.
