Although this hostel was really not close to the city, it was an incredibly short distance to the metro so if you don't mind paying for and using public transportation you have to stay here!! Common room was wonderful, we spent the night watching movies and girl talking. Showers clean and hot. Beds luxurious and well decorated!

Super cozy and nice environment especially for girls. There were so many chick flick DVDs on the shelf that you can just watch at the common area on big and comfy couches. Because it's an all girls hostel, everything is so clean and smelled nice.

The hostel is well decorated but there is something wrong with the atmosphere since no one talks. If we try to be nice and say a few jokes they look at you as if you had a mental problem. There was a problem in one of the shower areas and there was always water on the ground. The most disappoining thing about the hostel was the quality of the bunks (very bad) and the noise the doors made - which meant that as soon as the first person wakes up you can no longer sleep. Location is bad.

The hostel was clean and had more than enough shower and toilets availabe. hey give you a locker but there are holes in which you can put a hand through the locker so I don't know how much security that provides. Staff was helpful. They offer towels for hire but they make you pay 5 euros for them, I thought that was a bit much. However, they do let you keep them.

Staff and Hostel-design were ok, but it was Not really clean and the security of the rooms was a joke. Doors Codes are all easy and very similar (and won't be changed after your stay) and staff opens your room to drunk foreigners. And for our taste it's a bit too far away from the City.

it was good to stay at this hostel as they provide most of the facilities that we needed. The service also quite good and excellent. Just that it will be much better if it is nearer to the public transport :)

I don't understand why they say you can check-in all day long, when it's not true, I wait all morning and nothing; and also it seems like if you don't wake up early you don't get hot water... Also, if you move the bed up/down also moves, that's a little uncomfortable, fridge to small for so many people, but at least it's a nice kitchen with all the supplies and some common stuff like coffee, tea, nutell... Besides that, people and staff are amazing; they do explain really well how to get there.

I traveled to Amsterdam by myself and I thought Hostelle was a great place to stay. I had a very hard time finding it, but once I found it I didn't have a problem. It's very close to the Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA train station. About 20 minutes by metro to get into the actual city, so it's not a great place if you want to experience Amsterdam's nightlife. However, the staff was very nice. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

The door in room 4 was very squeaky and would wake up everyone in the room, not the persons fault but the door itself.

Excellent stay. Friendly and very helpful staff. Only criticisms are the refrigerator is too small for all the guests there & the freezer was so frozen over as to be completely unusable. Also, while the directions to find Hostelle from Bijlmer Arena Station make perfect sense in daytime, at night it's more difficult (lights are off at Lidl, can exit station from wrong side) Hostelle will be one of the first places I consider when returning to Amsterdam (unless my husband is travelling with me)

This hostel is really nice. Location is a bit far from center, but this is not a problem at all, as metro line is very close. Food market is also very close. The staff, the atmosphere and everything in the hostel was ok, btw, have never thought before that "female only" can become such a wonderful idea!

The showers were cold - resulted in very quick showers!! It is a nice location, but annoying to be away from the main part of the city.

Is a very nice hostel for stay in Amsterdam, the people who work there is very friendly and kindly. The room was nice and the bathrooms and showers was always clean and if you want to prepare something to eat they have a Kitchen and next to the building you also can find a supermarket. The only thing is the location...is a little bit far away for the city center, but you can take the subway number 54 (yellow line) and in 20 minutes you will be in the central station of Amsterdam

I was so surprised by the atmosphere of the Hostelle! It is very cosy and nice, rooms, lobby, bathrooms are always clean. The only but very important disadvantage is location. The hostel is quite far from the city center so you need to go there by metro. But you have a supermarket very close to the hostel and the place is quite and pleasant.
