The Hostel is really great, and Tom, the owner, is even better. Everything you have read in comments is true! We will be back someday, that's for sure

It is a little bit out of town, but it means it is closer to the gorge. Bled is so much about the outdoors and hiking, an extra couple mins is nothing.
I really enjoyed my short stay. I will recomend it to all of hosteling and non hosteling friends and aquantances.
This is absolutely the best hostel I have stayed at. The owner, Tom, went beyond the call of duty, offering to pick us up at the bus station and helped us planned our itineraries for the next three days. With his suggestions, we were able to maximize our stay and even return again in the winter to ski! Hosteller is not located right by Lake Bled but it has a great view of the Julian Alps. We drove and had no problem finding the hostel with Tom's directions. The rooms and sheets were very spotle
A nice hostel where the owner makes a big effort to ensure you have a comfortable stay, even providing umbrellas when it rained. Only comment for improvement is to allow the kitchen area to stay open all night so it is possible to socialise further with guests. On a couple of nights we were playing cards etc and then it all stopped because of the 23.00 curfew.
