I had a terrific time during my stay in HI DC. Location is excellent. Staff really friendly and open to help you whatever you need. They organize different free events every day.Good breakfast. They have to improve access to Wifi, really bad, many hostelers were not able to connect it. I had a terrific time during my stay in HI DC. Location is excellent. Huge hostel. Great location, pretty close to the Mall, Smithsonian, George Washington Monument, etc. Pretty spacious in-room lockers; but they charge $4 a day if you want to use a locker after you checkout. Pub crawl Saturday night was awesome. Too bad there was nothing planned for Friday night... with the free wireless, it seems like everyone was stuck to their laptops minding their business. Staff was okay, but the pub crawl volunteer was cool. Huge hostel. Like the spaciousness of the hostel, be it in the room, washroom or the kitchen. Like the many activities organised for the hostellites and FOC. Just hope the WIFI is not restricted just near to the reception area AND the lift is super-slow. You definitely could be faster walking up or down the stairs yourself.Like the spaciousness of the hostel, be it in the room, washroom or the kitchen. great hostel with all you might want. Great information available and free tours available. Great breakfast always plenty of food. Takes ages to get the lift, especailly if you're on the 8th floor :D. Room very small, but clean. Great Hostel !great hostel with all you might want.
