The staff are very friendly and were very helpful. I stayed on the 4th floor and they helped me get my bags up. There is no elevator in the building. The beds are hard though, so be prepared for that. Not just firm but hard.

The climate in Thailand is high humidity and heat. There is no air conditioning in the common area. One of the staff is constantly on the computer and there is no access to a printer. The two mornings when I planned to sleep in were besieged by a sledge hammer machine for more than four hours right next to my room.

Like a McDonald's, any Hostel International is perfectly adequate-nothing more. The hostel is located in a very quiet part of town which has its advantages and disadvantages. You do really need to taxi to get anywhere (Kho Sahn, Siam Center...) The rooms are fine. Nothing fancy but not spartan either. It is fine place but nothing special. Just like a Big Mac.

Really good clean hostel, staff were helpful & friendly. Gates are locked overnight so safe. Expensive for Thailand. Will stay again.
