Big, trendy hostel that checks all of the boxes for what a solo traveler might need. Very clean, good location, opportunities to meet other people in organized activities and in the large, well designed common areas. It might lack some character.

HI Boston in Chinatown has very friendly and helping staff, the facilities are brand new and super clean and the location is excellent. The only thing which I truly disliked was the noisy and breezy air-handling system just above the beds.

I was in town doing a search because I was relocating to the area. This place was very clean, had activities for the guest, and the staff was super helpful. Plus breakfast , there ia nearby options of you want to eat out . And if you are using the local transportation the train(t) is less than a block away. Safe travels

One of the best HI I've stayed in. The activities during the day and night are great way to meet people and also show you different parts of Boston. Amazing breakfast range.

Boston HI is a fantastic hotel, it's beautiful, comfortable and in a great location. The only negative was that there were a lot of school groups and older people in Boston for work, so there was a lot of loud irritating teenagers and people who got up at 6am to shower, which meant no sleeping in and people weren't overly social. I would definitely stay there again, hotel quality facilities, great breakfast and amazing location. Cheap secure car park on Beach St around the corner.

I've stayed in many hostels internationally over the years, and this hostel is a very nice and modern one. The value I got for the money spent was OK (I often stay at Red Roof Inns for $50./night or so in smaller cities for a nice private room, while the nightly fee here for a room that sleeps four is around $55. per night). Also, if you drive here, you have to pay extra to park in a private parking garage nearby for an additional $20. to $30. per night.

This was by far one of the best hostels ive ever stayed in. the facilities were fantastic, the wifi worked fine on the 3rd floor. every little detail has been very well planned and the bunks/lockers are great. breakfast had a huge variety of bagels, breads and cereals with fruit and yoghurt.

Very good located on the edge of China Town and Downtown, only a few minutes walk to Boston Common park. The hostel itself is more of an hotel than hostel; clean towels everyday and very clean rooms. The staff was also very nice and the free coffee and (the very basic) breakfast was fine! Would definitely recommend this hostel!

Fantastic Value, Very clean and hip. Great location and very friendly staff. I manage a 4 star resort in Vail and while this is primarily for students, it is a wonderful place to stay the night.

At first it seems too serious, but really it's a great place to make new friends, the staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and clean. It is the first hostel that I'm where the staff washes the dishes. Good tours. I give five stars.
