My stay there was truly great! The rooms are nice, with individual lockers and a bathroom which gets cleaned every morning. The staff is nice and helpful plus the Lobby and Breakfast area are really comfi. The breakfast is not exciting but ok. Also the excellent location is worth mentioning! Thank you!

Clean, Staff is friendly and very helpful and accomodating, Location of the hostel is awesome, right downtown near lots of touristy stuff. Good Breakfast food selection included in the price, lots of facilities (Tv room, computers, library, pool table, lounge, free wi-fi in rooms). Very happy with my stay.

I thoroughly loved the entire stay at this hostel. I will absolutely come back again. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. As one of the marathon runners that experienced the bombings at the finish line, I was so so grateful to be around staff and other guests for emotional connection and company following the attack. It would have been much lonelier if I had stayed in some hotel. What a great decision to stay at Hostelling International Boston - Chinatown.

The hostel is in a great location--close to Boston Common and several subway stations. It's also easy to walk to most places from there. The tours and pub crawls were great--Mike Blodgett, the coordinator of community events is really cool and very considerate of everyone he takes on the tours. My friend and I were there for the entire week of the Boston Marathon bombing and we felt very safe and taken care of. The only thing I'd complain about is the washers/dryers being out of order.

Never seen such a swanky hostel. The staff was relaxed, knowledgeable and all-around great. The location adjacent to the Boston Commons is very happening, near the subway station and lots of nice eateries and pubs. Highly recommend.

We found a friend to stay with and cancelled our reservation .. not because of anything you did. Even though we didnt stay there I would still rec to others, good price, close to everything, etc. There must be a glich in your reservation system .. while it was not difficult to cancel our stay some computer keeps sending us updates about our non-reservasation. Please fix this as we were uncertain for weeks whether our cancellation had actually worked and it is very difficult to contact your comp

Great Hostel! Very clean, quiet, value for money, great location and atmosphere. Loved the individual reading lights. Continental breakfast could be improved and the $3 fee per night could be removed.

This hostel is upscale! Clean with character. I travelled with my 3 teenaged sons. At first, they didn't like the idea of sharing a bathroom. My kids have never stayed in a hostel. After this experience, they are now positive about the hostel experience. They loved it! The beds were comfy. Facilities were great. Bathrooms were always clean. We even cooked. It's close to all attractions via subway or walking. My only concern is the price. A bit too pricey but its better than the hotel prices.

Good Hostel made great by Natasha's fantastic 'FREE' Yoga class! I also enjoyed the bar crawl. It is the volunteers who give up their free time who make this hostel great. The room and kitchen staff also do a fantastic job but it would be nice to see them smile from time to time;0) A sensitive jibe at the owners to reward their most valuable staff;0) This is inevitable due to the massive influx of travellers and young students who take overthe place. Definately the best hostel in Boston!

The location of the hostel is pretty good you can easily walk everywhere and the subway is very close by. The hostel itself was very big and unpersonal and the some of the staff members were a little cold. But not everybody! They offer a lot of free activities every day!
