The overall environment and equipment are fantastic! People there are warm and eager to help you. I lived in a 6 people's room, and although you, technically, only has a bed, you can get access to two hangers and a locker. And you can ALWAYS find a bathroom to use. It is definitely worth the money.

Top Hostel! If you're looking for a clean, well-organized, completely new and greatly located hostel, this is your choice!! Facilities are new, very well designed, clean and functional. Staff is also quite good and helpful. Only drawback is the prohibition of introducing any alcohol even to the common areas. There was lots of people but veeery few "strange" people getting together as there's some lack of events within the hostel to get people together. Beside of this, one of bests hostels!

I've stayed in hostels all over the world, including some of the "best" and "nicest" in Europe and Hostelling International in Boston tops them all. I highly recommend this safe, clean and well-located hostel to anyone. For sis days I never felt uncomfortable once.

My food was stolen twice during the stay, even with the label on the bag. The wifi is very slow in room, too!

This is a good new hostel which is very clean but our stay was ruined by the fact that one of our members passport was stolen from our room, as well as a bunch of other things, hence ruining our trip. The staff didn't really know what to do and not very helpful. It is centrally located and looks nice which are the only pluses.

On a negative the rooms are way too hot and the WIFI is terrible. Other than that a good place.

Terrible New Years Eve party, the staff seemed more concenred about themselves then their guests, which in my opinion should be the complete opposite. Decent place to stay and close to the main commons area of Boston

Excellent hostel to stay at. I highly recommend staying at this hostel. Very clean, very friendly, modern, new, fun, everything you want in a hostel. It's a bit expensive, but well worth the price!

It's located in China Town. You can walk to Boston Common from this hostel. Subway station is near, too. The building is very new,so facilities are. Free breakfast. A billiard board. Really nice hostel.

We enjoyed our stay over Christmas at HI Boston. The hostel offered a good breakfast service with yummy hot chocolates. The facilities were modern and clean. It was a pity that alcohol is not allowed in the hostel especially over Christmas. The hostel lacked the social, interactive vibe that other hostels have offered us. The tv room was constantly being overtaken by a old man who appeared homeless and drunk. This meant that the tv area could not be used as a social interaction area.

This hostel was excellent. The bedrooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms. There were a lot of activities you could participate in, so no problem meeting new people. The breakfast was over the top.
