Hostel has great facilities, loved the big kitchen and common room. The hostel can be a bit understaffed at times; I had to wait nearly an hour to check in as there was a big group in front of me (no big deal, the girl at the reception was truly sorry, but it generally felt like the hostel could do with an extra person around). Also "pancake breakfast" is great but can get a bit repetitive after 4 days! Overall, great hostel with lots of info and tips, very nice rooms and free, easy parking!

The hostel staff and amenities as well as location was great. Girl scouts prepared free italian dinner which was delicious. The pancake b-fast is excellent too. But the dorm \"P\" was a little loud as it is right under the upstairs bathroom and the plumbing was busy much of the night.

Loved it, would do it again. NOT a party hostel, better for folks that just want to crash with other good folks. Staff were friendly and helpful. For instance, one night I locked my locker key in the locker (in my pants). I was embarrassed about it, but asked a staff (after hours) for help. She came right away, gave me the bolt cutters - no worries. By the way, bring your own padlock if you have it. If not, they'll sell you a small one for $4 which works - but a heads up. Great place overall!

I loved the clean, organized layout of the facility. The location was well suited to my needs being up on the higher ground away from the beach and in a nice central location in Point Loma. The landscaping was beautiful and noise levels at a minimum. I met some other wonderful travelers there and enjoyed the diversity of people staying there. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The staff is simply gorgeous. The location is a bit noisy cause of the airport, but it\'s in a good neighborhood not far from Downtown or the beaches. They even made pancakes for us in the morning for free!

Great location. Facilities are far cleaner then expected. This gave me the vibe of a motel or college dorm. However very accomondating with full kitchen, laundry machines, a break room with large TV and games and comfortable couches. Best hostel I've stayed in the US thus far.

This hostel is great, the only problem is its location. I changed to a hostel in downtown san Diego for one day after but I have to say I preferred point Loma. Definitely recommend it

My first time in a hostel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I am a woman travelling on my own and felt safe and secure. I loved this hostel and if I ever return to san Diego I would definitely sstay here.

I didn`t like the bed. The stretch sheets kept coming off so we would sleep directly on the mattress. Other than that, this was an excellent hostel with great kitchen facilities and helpful staff..

I love the setup here, especially the courtyard area with the hammock, tables and Christmas lights. The bathroom was very clean and the private room was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

I liked that the hostel was quiet and alcohol-free. The room was clean and the bed had a comfortable memory foam mattress. I didn\'t participate in the free breakfast or activities, but I appreciate the option. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hostel is secure with 24-hour key card access. Free street parking. There are computers with Internet access, but they cost money. I liked the clean washcloths in the bathroom instead of disposable paper towels.
