I enjoyed my stay. The location is great - a couple minutes walk to Waikiki beach. I appreciated that they had snorkeling gear, beach chairs and boogie boards you could borrow for free. The common room has 2 fridges, cooking facilities, a long table and 2 couches. Wifi was only available in the common area, and some people had problems connecting, although I feel that is common to most shared wifi networks. No A/C, but each room had fans. Compared to a $150 hotel, I'd gladly stay here again!

Staff were very helpful and accommodating from the moment I arrived, helped with directions, suggestions on where to go/what to do, booking transfers and answered all my trivial questions. So friendly! Clean and quiet hostel, really close to the beach and shopping district. Safe, secure building. Comfortable and private for a hostel. Affordable- good value for money!!

It's basic but very clean and close to the beach and shops. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. There's no atmosphere really but it's quiet at night and cool enough with the fans. The staff were friendly but the ones we dealt with seemed to have no local knowledge. On check in, late in the evening,we had to wait a long time to be seen whilst they handed over shift and apparently it's first come first served on beds so we were in seperate rooms the first night- not what we had booked.

The location is very central to everything you need. The beach is 3 min walk and you are in Waikiki beach! Food places and a grocery store is minutes away, a bus stop to go to all major attractions is also 3 min away. This hostel doesn't allow alcohol so that affects general atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and get some sleep. No a party hostel for sure! Meeting people wasn't hard but not as easy as in a drinking hostel. Wifi was free but very slow. Clean rooms and great staff.

Facility is totally bad. it means that facility of hostel is very nasty and dirty. However, staff is nice and location is good. if you want nice location and staff, maybe it is a good place to you but if you want clean and nice enviroment, it can be the terrible place to you.

Fab location and staff. Security and cleanliness great. I met lots of friendly people. Quiet at night for sleeping but also close to the party areas. Close to buses and the beach. Lots of cheap places to eat and drink nearby. I liked $3.50 Mai Tais at shore bird beach bar noon-5pm, $3-5 noodles at marukame udon on Kuhio, and $3 heineken at rivals bar on Kuhio watching rugby league. The supermarket is just round the corner. Wifi could be troublesome to log onto but this was only a minor issue.

Employees were friendly and helpful about activities in the area. The facilities were not that great: the light didn't work in our room, neither did my key, pretty cold at night since I was only given a sheet set. The location is fantastic - close to the beach, safe, bus stop, food, and entertainment. It is noisy so bring earplugs and an eye mask. Bring a padlock and headlamp (to not disturb others in room if you have different schedules). Our room had people 19-50 year olds.

Great place. Liked that the dorms are split into two semi-private sections so even if you book 6 bed dorm yo basically get a room with just 3 beds, feels very roomy plus you won't get woken by people coming in and out all night. Location is great, easy to get even by TheBus. Not much of a party hostel but great if you want to get some sound sleep after a long day. No wifi in the room was the only bummer.

Not a great atmosphere. Staff was very unfriendly to us during our stay and answered our questions begrudgingly. Was a great location, and I've stayed in worse hostels in Waikiki, but this one wasn't the best.
