About Hostelling International at the American Hotel
Hostelling International Seattle at the American Hotel is centrally located in the International District of downtown Seattle.
We are at 520 S. King St., which is just one block east of Union Station, the transit hub for Seattle that includes Sound Transit's light rail stop from Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport to downtown, Amtrak's Seattle terminus at King Street Station (two blocks west of us), and Metro buses for Seattle and the surrounding suburbs.
Our recently renovated 90-room, 320-bed facility in this downtown Seattle location makes us the ideal place to stay for value-oriented travelers. We offer the ideal mix of location, convenience, value, and fun!
