Roberto and his crew showed us a fantastic time. They allowed us a 7am check in and breakfast on arrival. Everyone is lovely and the party on the Saturday night was plenty of fun!

Cool hostel. Had all their facilities figured out, clean and good. I think we were the only ones staying there other than a family so it was super mellow. Roberto I think is his name is a cool guy and super helpful. Came back from surfing around 1pm and he still hooked up a good breakfast, break, fruit, yogurt, coffee and cookies. Definitely recommend.

Great Owner, nice atmosphere, but a lit bit out of city center!

The staff make a massive difference, for good or bad, in a hostel but here they were first class. They went above and beyond. The hostel itself has a great atmosphere, highly recommended.

Roberto the owner was super friendly and very helpful, he stayed up with us talking and making sure we will be all taken care of. The hostel has a great vibe and it is super cute. Only downside is that is kinda away from the touristic part of the city but it is a cool place to stay in.

Pros: Great staff. Nice, comfortable hang-out area. Good internet. Cons: Far from center! Have to taxi or bus there. But this may not be a problem if you're here for surfing. Was just in Arica to get to Peru, so this was a comfortable stay for the night. Would recommend.

Amazing and still quite cheap hostel in Arica! Owner Roberto is very friendly and helpful and the right guy for up-to-midnight-talks :). Just the bathroom would deserve a renovation.

Hostel owner Roberto is the most enthusiastic, cheerful and welcoming person we have come across in any hostel. We arrived at midnight and were greeted with a welcome beer, a map and lots of helpful information. We stayed in a private double ensuite. It was a nice room but unfortunately didn{t have a lock so we had to use lockers which was a little annoying. Breakfast was great and the general atmosphere in the hostel is laid back and very comfortable. Easy transport to town in shared taxi

Short taxi ride away from the bus station (take black taxis!) Roberto and Bryan are so welcoming and really looked after us...free bottle of beer on arrival :) Organised our early morning taxi to the airport. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying for a few days in Arica.

The best hostel we've stayed at so far on our trip! Loved it! Roberto is hilarious and a really nice guy. Would definitely return.

A great place to have a really good time! Roberto, the owner, is a great guy, willing to help with all your needs! Thanks again and see you again!

we stay only 2 days in Hi casa de Huespedes but its was awesome. Roberto is very nice and funny, we go with him to a party its was so funny!! we also made some surf that we book with the hostel and its was great!! we recommend it!!

Great place to stay..it is a little out of town but easy enough to jump a collectivo Into town if you need anything. Staff are really friendly if not totally bonkers but makes the place awesome and would defo stay here again.

Roberto was very hospitable and friendly, but when we were leaving after our two nights he was too hungover to get breakfast out for us. Bad form! Definitely a party hostel if that's what you're looking for.

Great night with Roberto and all the others.

Such a nice staz, even if onlz one night! You go there and it feels like home! Best hostel in mz stay so far!

We got here after a very long and tiring day to be handed an ice cold beer and to be told that they were having a BBQ that same evening!! It was like music to our ears!! We had hot showers and the staff were so lovely and accomodating!! I would recommend to anyone!!

I only stayed here one night but loved it. The atmosphere was fantastic and Roberto, the owner, is hilarious and super nice to talk to. Each room has their own bathroom and mini kitchen (with mini fridge) which is really nice. Breakfast was a nice spread too...bread, meat and cheese, yogourt, fruit...and you could have as much as you wanted. With tons of writing from past 'residents' all over the walls, you can tell fun is always had by all. I'd definitely stay here again.

- staff was very friendly and helpfull (told us how to get easy and cheap to peru, etc.) - room was very dirty (linen had been full of sand and nearly no water in the shower) - you can get easy to the city by colectivo (500p/person)
