really worth staying here if you want to go to poring hot springs but not pay the 120RM for their dorms, hard to contact them- keep tring until you get someone in the family who can speak english.managed to get them to pick us up in Ranau after calling the mobile number, no email replied to before that.they did take us down to poring when we got there and then he was waiting for us to bring us back when we walked out-very good surprise!and only charged 30RMx2 for the night, food, trasport.really worth staying here if you want to go to poring hot springs but not pay the 120RM for their dorms, hard to contact them- keep tring until you get someone in the family who can speak english.managed to get them to pick us up in Ranau after calling the mobile number, no email replied to before that.they did take us down to poring when we got there and then he was waiting for us to bring us back when we walked out-very good surprise!and only charged 30RMx2 for the night, food,trasport....Close

This place is fine to stay in provided you know what you're getting yourself into. It's off a dirt track that no taxi drivers know-we were stranded for 3 hours waiting for someone to pick us up. No one speaks English. No taxis will come up and you cannot call one-the owner will take you out if he is around but it isn't easy to organise. It is very baisc-expect a cold shower, sleeping with lots of bugs and no lock on the door. On plus side, there is plenty of homecooked food. This place is fine to stay in provided you know what you're getting yourself into.
