The t.v Didn't work neither did the printer, seemed to be an overall lack of maintenaince

Decent value for the price. Great location with friendly staff, however, the were some issues with the room. It seems like the carpets are in need of a cleaning and the curtains (the sheer white ones) needed to be changed since there was mildew on them. This left a foul smell in the room :(

We have stayed in hostels all around the world and would have to say this would have to be the worst hostel we have ever stayed at. The room smelt of stale urine, there were empty beer bottles under the bed and we didn't dare use the shower bathroom. We thought we would get a double room with ensuite. The basin was covered in used toothpaste and the vanity was clearly not wiped down. We weren't expecting anything flash, but some basic hygiene/cleanliness wouldn't go astray. Not sure if they have cleaners, if they do, might be time to employ a new one! We're still trying to get the stench out of our clothes!! We were this close to ditching the room and spending the night in our hire car!!

Staff ever helpful with bookings, etc. Great location (next to lava bar!) if you are looking to head out! clean and comfortable hostel

The shower hardly worked. Only three internet stations. The hostel is right next door to the Lava bar which is so load you won't get any sleep until 3:00 in the morning. If you want to sleep don't stay here.   Read Owner Comments

showers were dreadful, kitchen was pretty grubby and unlabelled stoves were really quite dangerous. ask for a room NOT on the Lava Bar side - music goes on way into the night. Staff very helpful

well equipped. Slightly inaccurate advice on white water rafting tour but other advise was really good.

i was in a 10 bed dorm for 5 nights, 2 of these the staff had over booked the room, as one night i came home to 2 people in my bed, the shower only dripped when hot and there were a few incidence of theft during my stay.   Read Owner Comments

Dirty hostel which should be renovated! Not enough computers. I was said to be in a 8 bedroom and I ended up in a 10! Too much!! During the night, someone was in a bed and wasn t supposed to be in this room.   Read Owner Comments
