fair enough, cheap price, good location. cathedral and markets are really close but bring some earplugs, the street is really noisy during night. water in bathrooms and kitchen is not drinkable. in off season it's almost empty.

Noisy street (pubs and clubs with loud music all night long every night); decaying building; basic rooms; no cleaning in the ensuite bathrooms during entire stay; shared showers extremely tiny and uncomfortable. Staff not unfriendly but totally unhelpful. No breakfast; Coke from the fridge 1.50 euros (thrice its cost in any supermarket!). Security low: the hostel-keeper let me into someone else's room to show me how my room's water boiler worked! Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't go again.

this hostel was very easy to find and nice and clean. however, if you cannot sleep with noise, do not stay here. if you are looking for bars and clubs, this is the place for you. i would stay here again.

Firenze is a huge place on 3/4 levels. It was very clean, and had a huge kitchen. Since its so big its got a hotel atmosphere and hard to meet people, it also can be noisy at night if your a light sleeper (until 2/3am) with bars outside down street. Staff at desk were really helpful, and has internet/washing machine available.

Great nightlife on the street itself, overall, excellent location. Staff does not all speak english but helpful, heavy with mosquitos, weekends are loud but fine if you plan on going out. I would stay here again

It was fairly noisy at night but easy to block it out if you fall asleep with an iPod on. The location is good overall. No lockers and the shower was basically just a hose pipe but other than that everything was very good. I\'d stay there again.

It is extremely noisy at night and we could barely sleep at all. However, it was clean and had the basic essentials to be comfortable.

It was what we had expected and what we paid for. It was a shame that our last night the toilets on our whole level were blocked, but we just went up another level to use those. The internet was free which was a nice suprise. The staff were also nice and helpful

the hostel is excellent if you're looking for a good time, as the street is full of really cheap and cheerful bars and restaurants. it is in a great location in the centre of Palermo, close to all public transport and shopping areas. only problem was the showers were mostly cold and the staff werent particularly helpful with giving us information on anything, as they didnt seem to really know much about Palermo/werent interested in helping. lovely terrace though and very easy going!
