This is much more of a hotel than a hostel. It is by far the cleanest, nicest, most confortable hostel we have ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful, the food is marvelous and the price is absolutely unbeatable. There are, however, two small drawbacks: it's quite a long way off, you definitely need a car (which we had) and it's not exactly the ideal place to meet people (but maybe we just weren't there long enough). My advice: bring along some friends. Then you'll absolutely love it!

IT was a solid 20 minute drive from the hotel to Frieburg. That sucked, but the security was great, the beds were comfy, and it's a great deal for the price if you have a car to get around. There's a bus stop within wlaking distance, but it only comes every 2 hours.

Really accomodating when the 4 of us turned up late (after checkin was supposed to close, and certainly after the bar was closed! we still got a beer though :-) ), very friendly, and a fantastic breakfast. We'll definitely be staying there again if we're in the area. :)

Nice family run hotel in quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful.Rooms clean and comfortable and food (and beer) very good All in all if you are a family or couple (or group like us who's partying days are long gone) looking for a nice, friendly and quiet place to stay but in good location for local tourist spots this is a good place to stay
