Room was very big, with 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed and an en suite, and had wifi in the room which was great. The hostel was a bit quiet which caused the atmosphere to be a a bit lacking. Decent location, close to an underground station, was difficult to locate from the road though as it's back from the street edge. Lots of restaurants near by, including a fantastic Vietnamese which was next door. Also had an issue at payment where we were unable to split the bill between cards.
Hotel was ok. This was the only time on the trip we didn't stay in a hostel. It was about the same price as we have been paying for 2 beds so that was nice. Wifi was great. The hotel isn't really close to anything. 30mins on a train & tram or over an hour walk to get to any of the 'touristy' things. That being said, lots of good restaurants really close.
The only issue we had were not being able to enter our room. They have a special swipe mechanism on the door, and although he demonstrated with a door handle on a plinth, it's unnecessarily complicated. The staff were rude when we asked them for their help- just think they are better, user friendly ways of getting into your room that are a lot more hassle free.
Great location. Was a pity about the construction going on next door but that is not the hostels fault. They supplied us with two fans so that we could shut the window which we were very grateful for.
Not too bad, place was clean and well kept, just a little bit too far out of the centre of Berlin to make it convenient. Breakfast was €7.50 which was a rip off considering there was no hot food, just toast and cereal. Not the best facilities (no kitchen or common room) but cleanliness and nice rooms kind of made up for it. Probably better for families, not backpackers, despite the pricepoint.
The room is clean and nice. I've booked a private double room but they give us private triple room. There is a problem with the toilet though. The water is blocked when we take shower
spent a week there, good location since there is no real 'city center' and the hotel is close to some stations. the staff were really nice and helpful. BUT the place closes at 23:00 (you can still come and go after 23:00) and only once i met other people aged between 18-30 although the place was fully booked. so if you are looking for hostel enviorment it's not the place for you. for those searching for a peacefull place it's good.
