This hostel wasn't terrible. It was a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay at night with a decent location. But that's about all I can say for it. When we arrived there was a sign on the door telling us we had to check in at the hotel down the street, which was weird, but we didn't mind. The staff there was friendly and helpful. What was really weird was that there was never anyone to greet us or answer our questions at our hostel during our whole stay, besides the rude cleaning lady.

The staff spoke english and were extremely friendly. Allowed us to leave our bags at the front desk even after we had checked out. Overall they did a good job at a accommodating us during our stay. Plus the 24 hour front desk was helpful when we took the wrong direction and couldn't initially find the hotel.

Free wifi would have been very nice and much appreciated. The rooms were beautiful and the location was superb!

The decor was very vintage and nostalgic, the view was AMAZING and the location was great! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Venice.
