I really missed lockers in the room. the hostel is very small and you can only get to your room by asking at the reception (unti 1.30) There is a shower in the room (without privacy cover) and a separate one outside the room. location ... you better buy a card for the public transportation Fazit: you get a bed (they make the bed every day for you so it's rather clean) and a shower but nothing more (not even a free map of milano)

everything is pretty fine (near to lambrate railway station and metro, lots of nice food around, nice stuff)except for the wifi.. you need to pay 5euros per day for wifi access. I've never come across with such situation in any other hostels and I don't know why and how. the stuff offered me an explanation of the high tax but I just can't be convinced. anyway, still recommend for a short stay here!

the staff is very kind and helpful.they always greet guests with a smile.I'd like to stay there again.オーナーの方はとても親日家で、温かく迎えてくださいます。大通りに面して、分かりやすい場所ですし、地下鉄の駅も徒歩圏内です。

I never knew the hostel is run by a chinese owner before i booked the hostel, but the owner was friendly and helpful to me eventhough i stayed just one day in milan. The owner purposely make some arrangements because she did not want someone to disturb me, so I basically stayed in a 5 beds room alone. Which was awesome. Hostel is clean, but no breakfast provided, and you gotta pay for the WIFI service.

Great location, bus stop right in front of the hotel, metro station is about 4 blocks away, lots of restaurants and services nearby. LOVED the staff!!! They were really great, super super nice, always concerned to ensure a good stay, and helped in every way they could....though the hotel is not as clean as you'd wish, room a bit chilly. Felt more like a really cheap hostel, would recommend it for transit on low budget and only to get there straight to sleep.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had difficulty speaking English but they still did their best to help and it was greatly appreciated. I always felt comfortable in my room and never felt unsafe about my stuff being stolen, The bus stop being right outside was perfect for location. The only wierd thing was that the shower was in the bedroom but they had another shower in a private bathroom so it wasn't a problem at all.

They close at night, so you should be back there not later than 1 a.m. If you don't speak Chinese (or, probably, Italian) it is not so easy to communicate with staff members. They are polite, but, it seems, they care more about their own convenience than that of the guests. Perhaps, that's why, every time I visit, there are fewer guests. But it is not a bad place for a night's stay.

Small, family owned operation. Limited English skills by staff. No common spaces, and they squeeze in 4 people into fairly small rooms. Not very conducive to meeting other guests not in the same room. Very little storage space, and zero security features. They don't provide lock boxes or anything like that. Location is fairly convenient to the Levante FS station, about a 5-10 minute walk. There's also a Carrefour Express right across the street, which was very convenient.

We arrived at the hostel around 1 AM, and the receptionist still us in but we could not pay for the room with a credit card, as I guess it was too late. The room was clean as were the sheets, but there were no lockers available. Also, the shower was placed in the corner of the room, so it made privacy very difficult. The hostel was conveniently located, a short ten minute walk to the nearby Lombrado metro stop or there is a bus stop right outside. The staff speaks little English, but is helpful.

The street is rather noisy (for the hot/warm time when it is impossible to brick the window). Towels 1,50. The stuff is very helpful. Admission controlled.

We really liked Hotel Alba. Its run by a lovely, friendly group of Asian women who are very hospitable and friendly. Its about a 10 minute walk to the metro which takes you to the centre and there is a great cheap pizza restaurant downstairs. There is nothing over the top excellent about this hotel, but it is comfortable and reliable.
