The card machine reader wasn't working when we got there, so they let us sleep and pay in the morning, which was super nice. We had a private room with a shower inside...it looked too gross to shower in so we went the body spray route in the morning. The toilet flushed with a screw, and the beds were really uncomfortable. The sheets appeared clean, but what with the combination of the other dirty things, who knows?

Low quality hostel, no hair dryer, sink blocks and takes ages to drain, only one thin pillow each, no air conditioning, and very expensive and out the way. On the other hand the staff were very friendly and helpful.

There should be a way to make sure the door locks without having a key. I left early from the hostel, and had to leave my key obviously, so the front door was unattended and open starting early in the morning. It seems like a security issue moreso if a guest left as early as 2am or the like.

The place was clean. The stuff were nice but sometimes it was hard to find them. It was ok for a short stay.

When i checked in she told me that the hostels were in another building and i was a bit suspicious, but this was called hostel gala and it was great. It was really clean which is my main concern, it was really quiet so not the place to be if you are looking to meet people and have a party. I shared a four bed dorm with one other person and i think this is because it is a bit on the pricey side for a hostel. The shower got a little backed up with water but otherwise it was just what i was needed.

Actually it is pretty far away from the Central Station, it's about 20-25 minutes walk. Our accomodation was actually in an other building. It was really hot in the room. The shower was so small i couldn't turn around in it...

The staff that works there is very kind, and it has been a very good experience

No real common areas and the kitchen cant be cooked in (Stove removed). The beds and showers are clean, the doors lock, and you get a decent sized locker in the room. Worth avoiding if you have a better option but if you are in Milan for one night or cant find anything better, this place is decent. There is a washing machine in one of the bathrooms but I had to MacGyver an extension cord because the only electrical socket was on the other side of the room. Staff are friendly.

It's definitely more of a hotel than hostel, much quieter than expected, and a little hard to find, it's definitely nice to return to after a long day.

Many things in the bathroom didnt work. Hostel was unbearably hot at night, making it difficult to sleep. Hostel is in bad neighborhood. My advice is to skip Milan altogether and go somewhere nice.

The rooms were very hot and unbearable to get to sleep in, it was about a half hour journey to get into the nice part of Milan the hotel is situated in a very dodgy area with lots of prostitutes outside, not any atmosphere and we found a cockroach under our bed

i booked a single room, the room is clean but small. The bed is ok , also can take shower in the room, reasonable price in Milan. If you want to find a clean place to sleep , this hotel is a good choice.

It was a very good place to stay in. Staff was very welcoming and they attended every inquiry. It was clean and good for money.

In a dodgy part of town , staff were pretty useless , no security whatsoever , the staff all went home about half 10 and didn't know what time they were coming back in the morning , broken fan in room and not that clean

The security for the hostel was not that great, there was no safe or place to leave our luggage when we got there early other than the place near the check in lady. The location was awful, it wasn't in a safe area, when walking home one night we passed 4 prostitutes, and its a 10-15 min walk to the nearest metro to the city. There was no hostel atmosphere or way to meet other guests. Also it was EXTREMELY HOT in Milan in the summer and the provided us with one fan that didn't work well.

it gets really hot during the summer... so be prepared to sweat!!! other than that, its fine..

Staff were helpful and friendly, location was very convenient, the room was clean! The negative is side is there is no AC - and in a city like Milan this is pretty much mandatory - while we were there the temperature went up to 38C! Also, it is not quite a hotel - it is only one floor with several rooms and common bathrooms - pretty much the definition of a hostel.
