Well worth the price. It was clean, the showers were great (even though they were communal), and the location was very convenient (if arriving by train). Not really a hostel, more of a hotel feel. Internet is a bit expensive and terribly unreliable in the peripheral rooms of each floor.
Breakfast was nice, something for everyone.
Staff were helpful.

I certainly will revisit this hotel in my next Lucerne trip. The staff are very friendly and city roads from station to hotel is easy. Internet access is excellent and at very reasonable price. Having my laptop for wireless connection makes life perfectly comfortable at Alpha.I certainly will revisit this hotel in my next Lucerne trip. It's quite a long walk but don't give up, go straight on the road that have starbuck and pizza shop on your left. Unitl a big junction, need to keep on straight on a smaller road.
