I very much enjoyed the stay at the Ambassador. I'd especially like to praise Lia (?), the front desk lady who was extremely kind in helping me book a whale watching tour over the phone on the morning of Tuesday the 23rd of April.

Great private rooms with comfy beds and loads of space, shared bathrooms at end of hall always very clean and new looking. Good kitchen facilities too. Only thing no elevator. Excellent location right onto Granville street and helpful staff.

We stayed there for 6 nights and it was a nice stay. The employees were really nice and were really helpfull. The room was nothing special but clean with a our own safe. Showers and toiletts were also clean. The kitchen includes just the main stuff but it was okay to cook spaghetti with sauce.

It offers a mix of hostel and hotel services. I was pleased with the clean showers and the well equipped kitchen. It's easy to pass it by in the street, a bit more visibility might be handy. Good value for money, if you accept that there are no dorms.

Great Value. Very clean. Pretty quiet for being in Vancouver's Entertainment District.

Excellent value for what is essentially much more of a hotel than hostel, besides the sharing of bathrooms which was never an issue as far as waiting!!

It was more like a hotel than a hostel. Very nice and super well located. Programmable safes in the room was very nice to put important documents/moneys.

It was great! It was a good location since it was very central to the city. Although each floor had to share the bathrooms, I never had to wait to use the toilet or to shower. If you're looking to have a flat screen TV, these rooms have tiny TV's but I didn't mind, especially for the price.

I was extremely happy with this hotel and didn't expect to have this value for money!! Clean room and bathroom, towels changed every day, perfect location, helpful staff! Just keep in mind there's no elevator and breakfast is not included - but you can live with that and honestly, who needs breakfast with Tim Hortons one block away?!?

Great location in a safe road, good price, room had fridge, sink, TV and a safe. Friendlier staff would have made it more welcoming but this wouldn't stop me returning
