It's a great place for the value. A bit far from the center of town and most attractions and not much atmosphere, but really the best price around. Clean and friendly staff. I would definitely go there again.

we enjoyed our staying in Ambra, room was very clean and new, staff is nice and ready to help. Recommend!

if i won't count the incredible cancelation penalty (70 Euro for a double room, almost 2 nights out of 3 booked), and the fact that the heating system didn't work in the first 2 nights (of 3), everything else was great for the price we payed. It was pretty clean, great location, friendly staff.. All good. But, if you consider the hotel just a place you sleep in, then you'd better ask for good heating.

Very old building which needs some renovation inside, although the hotel was very quiet, and the staff very friendly.

This is seriously a hole in the wall. The room had several cracks in the wall. We paid for a private room and there was two other beds in the room. The TV does not work at all. The bathrooms were somewhat clean. No chill area. The security is gated nice- MIlan can be a bit scary. This hostel/hotel is not close to anything. We took a cab there and back from the train station. Reception was friendly he called the cab for us at 4am. The wifi was decent and you were able to get it in the room.

The Hotel is very nice. The rooms are nice, just a bit small, but it has a lot of character. We loved every single minute there. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that bathrooms are shared and not always in the best condition. Sometimes the situation gets hairy! I mean literally. But they clean it quite often. Again, its a great place to crash for a few nights and its relatively close to the city center (about 6 metro stations + a 5 minute walk). The staff is nice!
