We stayed in a twin ensuite. It was quaint. The bathroom was TINY, we had to almost shower over the toilet. The floors were clean & beds made daily. The cleanliness of the sheets are questionable. They ask you to leave your room key with the desk when you leave the hotel, but the female receptionists do stay at the desk & guard the keys, so we just took ours with us to be safe. We only left it when the male receptionist (who works nights) was there b/c he does his job. The breakfast is AWESOME!

Hotel André Gill has a really good location really close to Sacré-Coeur and Montmartre. There are tons of bars and shops around. Also, there are two metro lines nearby. The rooms could use an overhaul but are maintained quite well, i.e. they are cleaned every day, you get new towels etc. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast nothing special but ok. All in all, I think it will be difficult to find a place in Paris which is this good for relatively little money.

My small room without bathroom went towards the backyard, So it was quiete even beeing located so central in Montmartre and very close to the metrostation Pigalle. The simple breakfast tasted fine. As soon as it is renovated I choose this hotel again.

The guy working the night shift is extremely nice and helpful, and even helped us extend our stay for an extra night even though they were already fully booked. The building is old and the room felt damp, but for it's value it is a nice for an economic stay. It is really clean--even the floors felt clean walking around barefoot! Location is convenient as well as it is only a block away from Pigalle metro stn, but it is also next to the red light district so the area is a bit creepy at night.

Amazing value for money, the hotel is located very near to some great turist attractions and you can easily walk to the centre of the city (or take the metro which is very close as well). the staff is very friendly, speaks good english and is always very willing to help. the hotel provides a small lounge with a microwave, which is quite usefull if you\'d like to save some money on food. it is very close to a number of supermarkets and boulangeries. A must stay in Paris :)

I traveled with my girlfriend. We were satisfied with the hotel, everything was OK. Room was a little bit old-fashioned and breakfast could be more variable (we got the same every morning), but the location of the hotel was excellent and staff was very kind and helpful.

The hotel is well situated, it is quite calm although a main route is close by. There are some nice bars around and Sacre Coeur is only a five minute footwalk away. But the hotel itself could use some renovation. The shower was leaking, the carpeting was not the best anymore.

Dumpy and dirty. Carpets are filthy. Bedding was clean tho and the bathroom got cleaned daily. Shower was broken and had been for awhile. Management wants cash only and don't take credit cards. Location is very good but I don't know what other hotels in the area offer or charge. No TV.

Such a great hotel!! The staff was really friendly and helpful. There were 2 dogs and 2 cats which is nice if you love animals. We spent 4 nights there and really enjoyed it. It's actually located in a quiet little street and you could really sleep without any noise. The rooms were quite simple but cleaned every day and nothing to complain about. Breakfast was included and served in a cozy room. Really good value for money. I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Paris.

The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful at all times. The location could not have been better, in the heart of Montmartre. Although in a very busy area the hotel was quiet and peaceful at night in the cul-de-sac. The metro, supermarket, Sacre Coeur, and a dozen good eating places were less than 5 minutes walking distance. The room was small but very adequate with an en-suit bathroom, and everything worked properly. Breakfast was standard with fresh orange, hot drinks and fresh rolls.

Good location nand nice staff. I have some questions about security as one night I took the room keys by my own as nobody was there. Anyways, it's a good value for money and I'd stay again.

Great location, just 700 meters from Sacre Coeur and 2 minutes from Pigalle metro stop. Room was very basic, just 2 beds, table with TV and 2 chairs, no other equipment. Ensuite bathroom was clean, no problem with hot water. For breakfast you get 1 croissant, half baguette with butter and marmelade, glass of juice and you can also choose coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Staff is very nice and helpful.

The staff are nice. Good price with breakfast. Cost some time to get to the main attractions around the city centre. Love the cats. The main problem is the shower. Its temperature is hardly control. It was extremely hot or extremely cold but no moderate. Even the shared bathroom seems better than our bathroom inside the room.

Very nice place, they had problems with hot water but it was not their fault. They are all old buildings in the area, but is that not the charm of Montmartre? Even the decoration at the hotel was very Montmartre. Very nice staff.
