Staff was very friendly and helpful. Receptionists with fluent English. Breakfast was nice. Location is very close to Moulin Rouge and has a goo access to Metro. Room was nice with bathroom en suite. Our room had a TV with cable TV. Heating was powerful. Hotel was very clean. Good value for money. Hotel has 2 stars. I recommend Andre Gil for sure!

it's a very nice place, very cosy and comfortable. room is ok, enough space to go around, bathroom also ok, even though shower head couldn't hang above head. very clean place. small elevator, but nice. it was all into that paris spirit. don't come here if allergic to cats or dogs, as they keep 2 cats and a little dog at the reception. breakfast was ok. position was 5min from subway station, and 10min from montmartre hill and moulin rouge. rather agitated area, many clubs and pubs.

Great stay – perfect room for a couple like us who want to spend the majority of the day exploring and not paying for a TV in the room we never use. Loved the cats – really reinforces the family run atmosphere. Friendly staff, cute breakfast and simply so close to the Monmatre and wandering its streets.

The hotel is quite small but with very friendly staff and a 24-hour open reception. Beware if you are allergic to animals - when we were there two cute cats and a dog lived on the bottom floor by the reception. The breakfast was ok but nothing special and the rooms were clean but clearly not renovated for quite a while. Bathrooms clean and nice. If you just want a clean place to sleep that is close to the subway it's a good stay.

Everything very clean, comfortable, nice staff, very close to the subway and located in a nice place (pubs and restaurants everywhere). Only problem was the internet that is unstable, stopped working on the last day. I'm going back there soon!

The hostel was located in the best spot in this beautiful little alley. The guys at the desk were nice, breakfast was so tasty, and the pets were friendly. Downfalls with the place are that i did not know when check in time was and security did not seem the most efficient. You have to leave your key when you leave and anybody can take that key and access your room. Otherwise the place was great! upgraded to a room with a view of the e.tower (only 6th flr) was a spectacular gift for my bday

The staff was not very helpful, except for the the one man working the front desk during the night hours. The staff did not even say one word to us as we checked out of our hostel. I was very displeased with their lack of help and friendliness. Other than that, the hotel was extremely clean. It was not close to the heart of Paris, but traveling by metro or bus wasn't a huge deal. It wasn't the best hotel I have ever stayed at, but for what you pay for I was not displeased.

The character is fine. The rooms were small but perfectly adequate. It can be noisy, especially during the weekends. I would just recommend that the staff might want to consider an upgrade: the stair railings were a bit wobbly and I was concerned about the safety of that. The shag carpet thing that hung over the beds should definitely be removed--I was concerned about the cleanliness and decor of that. Additionally, while smoking is not permitted in rooms--the hallways somehow smelled of smoke

Por el precio pagado el estado de la habitación y del establecimiento era el esperado, aunque no es de recibo que haya animales sueltos por el hotel (gatos y perros) y mucho menos, tumbados en el mostrador de recepción durante las 24 horas del día.

At the arrival we were greeted by name, as they were prepared to our arrival. To hotel had a charm of the old days, like Twin Peaks but in a good way. There were some signs of wearing but that didn't bother us as the hotel was rather clean and cosy otherwise. Corridors and the shower were small but we expected nothing more. The breakfast was served in a separate breakfast room and included coffee/tea/hot chocolate, tartine and croissante with jam and butter, and a glass of orange juice.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days as part of a larger trip around Europe. The room was very small -- alright for a short stay, but probably uncomfortable for a longer one. The hotel is only about a block from the subway stop, which is excellent for traveling around the city -- however, Pigalle definitely lives up to its reputation, and it's a fair uphill walk to the more pleasant Montmartre. Overall, a good price given the convenient location and free breakfast.

This hotel is value for money. The heating is excellent which allows you to sleep well at night. However, you might hear footsteps of people on top of you... What not to miss, the two lazy cats and caramel the dog.

The room was very small. Carpeting dirty. Leak in bathroom ceiling. Shower with poor drainage so that water was up to ankles by the end. Staff, however, very nice. Close to Metro stop.

Fanstastic hotel! The entire staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. My room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. I plan to stay there again my next visit to Paris. Excellent price and value for a Parisian hotel.

Great hotel to stay at. Location is close to the montmarte region of paris and is also within walking distance of pigalle station which gives easy access to all the finest paris has to offer. The sacre couer is almost literally on the hotels doorstep too. The rooms were spacious and adequate, and cleaned daily. Bath facilities were great although the toilets were slightly cramped. My bedsprings were broken but after i informed them they kindly changed it for me - great service.
