It was a good location and close to the shops etc. Only thing that could be better is lockers would be good though passports and valuables can be left at the front desk. Some activities such as bar crawl etc done by the hostel would be fun. Neat and cheap hostel. Location is ok, but a bit of a walk from central Amsterdam. Security a little questionable. Concerned at the lengthy period the door was left open while cleaned. Internet a little dodgy, with it's proxy servers and soforth, but two computers in rec room were handy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Place was spotless, staff friendly and easygoing. What a great bargain. Off-season weekday rates just 11 euros for a dorm bed, includes breakfast and use of kitchen, free internet. really not bad at all. The staff were awesome and the people were fun. It was also the cheapest hostel for the weekend. and it was quite clean.
