Overall, the staff was helpful, but not overly friendly. The directions from the train station were confusing, and while conveniently located distance-wise to the port, as a female solo traveler I did not feel safe getting to the hotel at night as the surrounding area seemed sketchy and not very well lit or populated. The breakfast/transport to the port was a good accommodation but could easily be offered a little cheaper.

A bit difficult to find - the directions the hotel provided weren't consistent with how to get there. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but some of the staff were rude and short. All in all, pretty good value for money.

There were no safes or anywhere really to lock up valuables.

We only had a quick stop at Hotel Argo but the rooms were pretty big for the two of us and nice and clean! The staff made us feel welcome when we got in (even though it was 12:30am). I would definitely recommend staying here especially if going to another Greek Island early in the morning because it's only a 5 minute walk to the port.

Very clean and good environment, tho it's a bit far from the metro station but the hotel environment worth the walk!

It's very bare bones, but the staff is nice and you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a place to crash near the port before heading off the next day, this is a great spot. 6 minute walk or so to the port.

The hotel is perfect for those people who have a ferry early in the morning, because it is close to the port. The staff was not very polite when we asked some questions about the city. They didn't have much information to give us. We didn't try the breakfast, but it's served from 6 am, a positive point. The metro station is not far and you can go on foot, but after the sunset it might a little dangerous to walk alone.

This hostel was difficult to find, and in an out of the way location. The person working when we arrived at night was highly unhelpful. She gave incorrect directions for finding a grocery store and was unable to tell us anywhere we could go to eat. However, the person working in the morning was fantastic, and helpful, and gave us a lift in to the ferry.
