One of the care takers was not friendly at all and he didn't even greet us when we arrived. And there was lot of noice in the room at night. Its not at all sound proof. To my surprise it was the caretaker himself who was so loud. I don't blame it on them but the lack of sound proofing in the room.

In spite of good reviews we read before we were surprised by unfriendly staff. In a very last moment although we processed the booking via hostelworld.com the receptionist was about not to give us a room. After arguing he finally gave us a key of an apartment located further. We should admit that this fact influenced a lot on our mood and a general impression of our stay. If by any chance we are back to Venice, we will avoid this place.
