the room we stayed in was separate from the rest of the hotel which was fine, but in order to use the wifi we had to go into the garden to access it. that was an inconvenience but other than that the stay was nice.
Our stay was quite average. Location was great and good value for money, but with many issues. Our room smelt like dead animals, there was no wifi in the room, the shower curtain was moldy and we were unable to open the front door without assistance. Most of the staff was great, however the afternoon staff was greatly incompetent. My friend had a severe nut reaction and the staff was rude and unable locate a doctor or pharmacy, and told us to walk to the hospital 15 minutes away. Disgraceful.

This hostel had a good location, however we became aware that there were various locations, so our room was close to the office, but not sure where other locations were (10-15 minute walk away though). It was a little difficult to find as Venice notes street names AND intersection names in different places. Our room was off the main office, so we had to go to the main area to get WiFi and we didn't get much of a feel for the "hotel atmosphere". Our room was clean and we had great AC!
A good value for the money...a nice alternative in Venice.
The walls are SO THIN you can hear every conversation on your floor. And everything else people want to do at 6am (awkward!). And every time someone flushed their toilet, it sounded like a waterfall pouring onto our heads. For all that, we had a private room and bathroom, a window, a comfortable bed, and internet that made it to the rooms.
Really expensive for what it offers (but everything inside Venezia should be the same)
The staff spoke English very well. They were courteous and very friendly. I booked a different night and was fortunate they had a room on the night we needed, very accommodating. We were on the first floor and the room above us was a bit noisy. It was a little hard to find. But once we found the small street/alleyway the door was well marked. We liked the convenience to the train station. We will stay here again next time we are in Venice.
