This is hotel, not a hostel, so they didn't have a kitchen to use. We did have a nice room though with fresh towels, and you could buy breakfast there if you wanted. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from a city centre area of Mestre where there's a good pizza place. If you ask at the desk they have maps and can tell you where to go. This is not in Venice itself, but about 30 minutes from the islands by bus. The bus was easy to use and if you get a day pass it's good for the boat and bus.

a 20 minute bus ride from Venice, but its a very short walk to the bus stop. Very good and cheap breakfast, relatively clean and secure, decent bathroom/shower

Too far away from city center(almost at the northest part of the city). We took more than half an hour to get there from mestre railway station. You must take a bus to get the hotel. Others are good.

It's one of the cheapest solutions in Mestre. it's in the middle of nothing but there's a bus stop in front of the hotel to go directly to the station and venice. No free wifi and poor breakfast (not included ).

Really liked the staff, they were incredibly helpful. However, they booked me in room 42 which is windowless and smelled of smoke when I got there. Hotel Aaron is closer to the Mestre station and much nicer for the same amount of money!
