Staff were very nice. good location, 5-8 mins walk from train station. good value just 2 things that could have made it better. The TV in the room did not work, wasn't that bothered. But No hot water at all in the shared bathroom or the sink in the room 7.

Wonderful little hotel. Hotel Arno and Eva are linked together on the same floor, and we ended up on the Eva side. The man at the front desk was very cheerful and helpful at all times. The bathroom was smaller than we're used to, but more than sufficient for its purpose. No need for public transportation, Hotel Arno is nicely located between the train station and the touristic center area. Breakfast is offered for 3 euros, and it's a great value! Great for getting a "local" experience!

It's a lovely place to stay. Just 20 minutes walk from the Duomo. In the neighbour there are 2 supermarkets where you can get all kind of stuff you need. 7 minutes walk from the main railway station, where you can find some nice places to eat. The hotel is on the 4th floor, but there is a lift, which is extremely small, but still can carry you and your luggage. The staff is nice and kind to you, eager to help with anything. They have free city maps and free wi-fi in the whole building.

One thing you should be aware about this hostel is the fact that Arno Hostel is located on the 5th floor. Make sure you can carry your luggage all the way up. The staff I met was very unfriendly. It seemed that I bother him when I was asking questions about the things I need. The room was very clean and nice. It is located near tram 1, which will take you to Duomo and other sight seeing places.

The place is really scary!! it's an old house that I couldn't name it hostel or hotel!, it looks bad, dirty, the elevator is a tramp for mouse, and best thing, when you pull down in the WC the sink becomes a fountain!!!!!

Since I'm not a picky one I had no complaints: it was cute, warm, silent, comfortable, clean, very good internet connection that you can use in room, easy to find from Milano Centrale, everything's fine, thank's! Ahh, expect maybe the elevator who is sooo tiny, but it's just a small detail ;)

Security is pretty good because there is a 24-hr reception and a front entrance where you have to buzz the hotel before you will be let thru. Location is a short walk away from the main station, and another stone's throw away from one of the main shopping streets Buenos Aires. Numerous metro stations nearby, and it doesn't really take you long to get to the main tourist attractions by metro. That being said, the hotel's showing signs of aging, and the lift isnt for the claustrophobics amongst us

close to the Milan train station and some hole in the wall gems. Wouldn't recommend for girls traveling alone at least not at night. Hotel staff is great and very helpful and pleasant.

very central, difficult to park, lots of restaurants in all price classes around, far enough from main station to feel safe at night, they offer breakfast for 3€ (if for some reason you don´t want to go to a bar i the morning), you kind of get what you pay for

Excellent location, no more than 5 minutes walking from Stazione Centrale and metro stops Repubblica and Porta Genova. The area is really safe and staff is great. Free wi-fi in the room is definitely an added value.

Stayed in Hotel Arno for a shortbreak with my girlfriend. Hard to put my finger on it tbh! Staff were ace. Older guy who first met us was spot on and very helpful about how to get into the centre. Younger guy showed us the night life hotspots. The location isn't perfect with it being about a 30 minute walk from Duomo and 10 minutes to nearest tube. Security..good I suppose nothing got stolen! Felt safe! And the hotel room was clean. Bathroom was ok. All in all it's good but better places I think

The hotel was clean, spacious and the staff were friendly. Centrally located, between a metro stop and the main station. It was everything I expected for the price: a basic, clean, old hotel. Good value for money I felt. We were two friends heading to Milan for a weekend of shopping and football and we weren't disappointed.

We spent two nights in this hostel (which is really a budget hotel). Good location - easy walking distance from the main station and historic centre. The hotel is in an old building but the rooms and shared facilities are clean. There is a fairly decent cheapish pizzeria round the corner from the hostel. Breakfast is 3 euros but we went to a nearby cafe instead (there is also a supermarket on the same street as the hotel). Good value for money given how expensive Milan is.

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Arno in the middle of a whirlwind trip through Europe—so while it wasn't THE most social place I've ever stayed, it was really relaxing and the staff were really accommodating for us. There's a fantastic Italian restaurant right next door that's super affordable, and the hotel was really easy to walk to from all of the major sights in the central city. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking to go to Milan, especially since the city itself's crazy!!

All the places around bathrooms, available for everybody use, smell really bad. Additionally the room was not clean out of bed, especially the bathroom in the room.

The hostel is close to the train station and it is not that close to the city centre. The guy at the desk in the morning was friendly and helpful, but the other guy in the evening was some incommunicative. The cleanness was avarage. I do not know why, but i did not feel myself very confident while staying there. The furnature in the room is very old.

Really great staff, very helpful and relaxed. Wonderful place. Perhaps a little loud at night due to traffic but it did not bother me. The computer broke the morning after I arrived but it was promptly replaced with a laptop. Good standard. 10min walk to metro. Shopping, restaurants, supermarket and other services all nearby.

There were 6 of us staying at Arno over the weekend. Staff almost doesn't speak English and it's really difficult when asking for directions etc. There was an older guy who was really friendly but the rest weren't. Location is fine around 20 min walk from Duomo. It's a bit noisy at the hotel as Trams are passing in front of the building - not suitable for families. Few nice restaurant in the area though.
