When we arrived, the hostel was locked up. There were directions to a hotel around the corner and we were booked in there instead. The room I booked was a 'twin' and it was a store cupboard with a bunk bed in it. The bathroom, although very clean and nice, was a floor down from the room. The staff were helpful enough but gave us a Burger King map of Venice (not kidding!) which didn't even have all the street names on it. Close to the train station. Very expensive for a night in a cupboard.

Terrible. The smell of mold was terrible. Not just a little damp smell, but heavy mold stench, not leaving even with windows continuously open for 2 days. Cracks on the walls, torn linen and semi clogged shower complete the picture. The reception was at a different hotel, and the guy at the reception tried to charge the advertised free wifi. And all this for 100 euros per night for a double room. Simply the worst accommodation I have ever been to regardless of price. Add to that the price...

This place was beaten down and gross. Fix it up and advertise it for what it is.

Very basic and small but extremely clean and a great location.

The "twin room" was in fact a pseudo bunk bed- a sofa that pulls up into a bunk bed in a very narrow space. Luckily neither of us are very big people but it was tight. The shower was also very difficult to get into- a tight squeeze since the door did not fully open, again not a huge problem for us but something to consider. Wifi is not free - paid for by the hour and only really accessible from the entrance of the hotel.

Clean facilities (new bathroom actually, so thumbs up for this), but no view outside the window (into a tiny backspace with garbage....coooool!) and really bad air conditioning (the heat was turned on and at the same time the air conditioning, that's not very climate concious!) plus there was no WiFi, but I think that was mentioned before. I think for the money one could expect more.

no atmosphere, staff wasn't helpful, bedroom so small, old bed... I don't recommend it at all.

Great location right by the train station. Rooms were small but cozy

The reception cum manager of the hostel was very stern with us group of four teenagers, she asked us to wait at a waiting area next to our room while she cleaned our unprepared room during check in but my friend went to take a look in the room and got scolded for it hahahahha. All of us were put in a extremely small room with a queen bed and a foldable bunk bed. The wifi although is advertised as free, but you have to pay 1 euro per a mere half an hour usage.

Do not choose! When we arrived at the hotel.the door was locked and had a note on it telling us to go to another hotel to check in.The receptionist gave us the key of the room and the outside gate because there was noone.at the reception. At first side, the room looked avarage. Then we discovered the spider coming down room from ceiling. And then we tried to get wifi but they told us there is no wifi and if we want we can use the wifi in.other hotel's reception for half an hour.Disappointing!

It was very well located for us personally since we needed to get to Piazzale Roma early in the morning, also not far from the centre and boat stops. The room was basic, but neat. Perfect to just sleep in during a city trip. Price was very much worth it. Downside was that the city tax was not mentioned on hostelworld.
