Atlantide is a hotel. A tiny room, clean bed and hot shower. Beds are made up every day. No common facilities, no kitchenfacilities, no internet or wifi, tv doesn't work. Reception was closed for 3 days during our stay; no staff present. Just an anonymous place to sleep and shower. Breakfast available for 10 euro. Location is perfect in a quiet back street near the Piazza de Roma and train station.

I was really nicely surprised about my stay in Venice. The location of the hotel is perfect, just about 3 minutes from the train station. Room was clean and had everything that it was supposed to. Staff was very kind and nice, we could even check in sooner and they let us leave the lugage there the whole next day.

Multiple rooms, but only one bathroom/shower for everyone to share. It didn't matter much because everyone is on different schedules but a few times I had to use the toilet but couldn't because someone was showering. I had a two bedroom room with bunk beds. And we had a sink which was nice for brushing teeth and washing faces and hands at night. But besides that, not much in the room. Also, wifi is available but you have to pay for it.

I won't come again. The situation is really good (5 minutes from Sta. Lucia) but I feel they cheated me with the beds: they located us in a kind of a cave with a bunk bed. I booked a room with two beds, well, the two beds were there, one over the other. I expected the normal distribution. One bathroom for 20 rooms more. I had to took a shower at one in the morning and the water tap was almost broken and very noisy. When I finished, the recepcionist was waiting for me outside to complain for it!!

We are not commenting on the hotel atlantide, but its sister hotel, Antica case carettoni. The service, tiny room, attitude of staff and expensive wifi did not make for a pleasant stay. However, it was clean and well located. Leaving the key at reception and being able to either get it back yourself or without any identification didn't make it feel like your room was particularly secure.

At first I was annoyed because I arrived at the hotel and a sign said to go to a different address because the building is under reconstruction. But, once I walked into the new location a block away, I was very happy. It is a fancy looking place very close to the train station, perfect for students like me. The price wasn't too bad, especially because the quality of my room was fantastic. You might have to pay extra for a shower. It was a small room, but I didn't mind. I definitely recommend it!

Room is quite small and virtually no space to move about in the room. However it is easy access to food and shopping. Hostel might be very near to train station. but it might not be easy to find especially when it is located in one of the dark alleys. If ask directions from people, most will direct you to a street of same name many blocks/bridges ahead. Just remember this place is in an alley and NOT street. So better to follow hostelworld's direction to this hostel.

The hostel was great, but the receptionist wanted us to pay for everything, and some things were not said in advanced, so be ready to pay more, she even told us that we had to pay €2 toget the room when we arrived, and when we got the room it was not clean and ready. But the room was nice and comfortable and the hotel was close to saint lucia train station.

I booked a room for two nights at the hotel and got a confirmation e-mail and SMS from Hostelworld. When I arrived, the receptionist told me they had trouble charging my credit card with the downpayment, so there was no reservation any more. So I left and searched for another hostel. However, I later went through my bank records and I found out that the correct amount had actually been charged at the time I booked. I consider this bad service at best, fraud at worst, until proven otherwise.

The location of this hostel was ideal because we had an early train to catch and it's just a 5 min walk away from the station, but it is a little far from the main square. Not a big deal though since Venice isn't the biggest place either, plus the bus boats were very handy in getting around. The receptionist was very nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Room was clean and the shower was great. For 16 euro a night it was a lot more than we were expecting so we were happy.
