The place does not have breakfast, is reeeeally close to the train station and there are NO bridges to pass with baggage to get there, a HUGE plus. Doesn`t have a kitchen, its actually just a typical low budget hotel, not a hostel. It`s clean and the bathrooms are beautiful, and are in every room.
The door was not easy to find, and the reception was in another hostel?! The room was quite small and the heater in the toilet is not working...
Great location walking distance to the train station St Lucia. Clean, small rooms and decent security. We enjoyed our stay, however water temp in the shower fluctuated a fair bit. Otherwise, for backpackers, its a great stay for a couple.
The place is situated really next to the train station, or the place where the buses left you, which is useful if you have heavy baggage, the bridges in Venice dont have any kind of help for that. If you are going to this hotel, i think you could look for a map on internet, the indications they give to arrive are not really good. But the place was just good, the staff were helpful and nice. the room was comfortable and clean I do recommend the Hotel
We only stayed one night so chose to stay on venice island itself. It is super close to the station. You dont check in at the hotel (which is a couple of doors down in a very small road/wide alley) but at a hotel on the main street. The decor was interesting (carpeted red patterened walls) but water was hot in the ensuite. Security it's good - key to room and key to main door but no staff around. you can leave your bags for free before check in and after check out Air con was broke
