Jorge greeted us at a very late hour, and was very gracious. He carried our bags up to our room and made sure we were comfortable. His english was much better than our spanish! We got a very good value for our dollar. Understand this is not the ritz. If you are looking for a clean, peaceful, cheap place to stay in Chitre, I highly recommend it. It is in the middle of town, close to shopping and a beautiful church.

A nice, no-nonsense hotel hear the Cathedral (which tolls the Westminster Chimes!) Clean and comfortable, with pleasant staff.

Hotel Bali Panama is a really nice hotel if you don't have much money to spend. The rooms are big and clean and you have a really good shower in your bathroom. The stuff is friendly and always recognizes you when you come back from a trip or something. You can get breakfast in the hotel if you want to, or you could also go into the near bakery. (Try the cinnamon-donughts).
