This is a hotel, not a hostel. It has a terrible location far outside the city reachable only by infrequent bus. The staff didn't speak English, there were no amenities (microwave, internet, A/C etc) and it wasn't clean. Totally overpriced for what you get. This is a really good and cheap place to stay. Within walking distance from the beach (20-25 minutes), which was all we were really interested in. It was a bit confusing to get to before we actually arrived. It is not actually in Cannes, it is in LaBocca. Very good and cheap grocery store near by, and there is a macdonalds attached to the hotel itself, if you get desparate. The staff pretty well only spoke french when we went, but that adds to the cultural experience. AIR CONDITIONING IN ROOMS!This is a really good and cheap place to stay. This place is ok if you just need a room and that's all. Bit far out of the main town centre but the beach nearby is lovely near by - definitely worth checking out the beach but I would not stay here again to visit Cannes.
