Hostel Bambu is an intimate (70 person) travelers lodge in an excellent central location - we are in the very middle of the Northbridge entertainment area, surrounded by the cities best bars, cafes, museums and art galleries, and just 5 mins walk away from the commercial city centre. A free city bus service operates from our doorstep, taking you to all the major attractions and the cities major shopping malls.

Decorated with an eclectic interior of artifacts, curios, and Buddha statues collected from across the Asian continent, our hostel is a well balanced mix of laid back chill during the week, while boasting a great party atmosphere with talented DJ's on weekend nights.

Bambu's spacious private front lounge (reserved for you and your invited guests only), has its own BYO bar, where you can chill and serve your own drinks while slouching back in bamboo lounges listening to cool house music and acid jazz tracks. Friday nights at Bambu are quite simply legendary amongst the thousands of guests who have enjoyed a stay at Hostel Bambu.
