Pros: The hotel had a great location, the room was clean, warm and confortable, and the staff was really nice. Cons: the wifi was a bit too slow. Anyway, unbeatable value for money

Had booked a twin room at the hotel and emailed to confirm our check in time. Received no email back. Upon arrival was told that they had no rooms for us even though we had booked and had arrived with our booking confirmation. He even had our email up on the screen. He then changed his mind and said he did have two rooms for us to choose from but said they weren't very nice rooms and that all the good rooms were on higher floors but they had ran out. Room smelt and was full of damp.

The first room we stay in was nice. Good sized bathroom, the sheets were nice, 2 balconies for 1 room overlooking the main square of Calais, the whole hotel was very quiet. But then we transferred rooms because he had to extend our stay and the second room was pretty bad. It was very damp and smelled, the floor was wet from the bathroom overflowing all the time, the bathroom was small and had no toilet seat, one of the plug sockets didn't work. Good stay in the first room, bad one in the second
